合約助理驗船督察主要負責：
- (a)在審批船舶圖則的過程中提供協助；
- (b)協助高級人員處理有關本地船隻圖則審批事宜的通訊和其他辦公室工作；以及
- (c)在有需要時執行任何其他職務。
職責
A Contract Assistant Ship Inspector is mainly deployed on :
- (a)providing assistance in the ship plan approval process;
- (b)assisting seniors to handle correspondences and other office works concerning plan approval matters of local vessels; and
- (c)discharging any other duties as and when required.
入職條件
申請人必須：
機械界別
- (a)
- (i)持有香港任何一所理工學院、香港理工大學、香港專業教育學院或工業學院／科技學院所頒發的機械工程或輪機工程文憑或高級證書，或同等學歷，並在取得有關學歷後累積三年相關工作經驗；或
- (ii)持有海事處處長所簽發或接納的二級（輪機師）（蒸氣機船或內燃機船）合格證書，或同等資歷，並在取得有關資歷後累積一年相關工作經驗；以及
- (b)中、英語文能力俱佳。
船體與甲板界別
- (a)持有香港任何一所理工學院、香港理工大學、香港專業教育學院或工業學院／科技學院所頒發的造船學文憑或高級證書，或同等學歷，並在取得有關學歷後累積三年相關工作經驗；以及
- (b)中、英語文能力俱佳。
電機界別
- (a)持有香港任何一所理工學院、香港理工大學、香港專業教育學院或工業學院／科技學院所頒發的電機工程文憑或高級證書，或同等學歷， 並在取得有關學歷後累積三年相關工作經驗；以及
- (b)中、英語文能力俱佳。
Candidates should have :
Machinery Discipline
- (a)
- (i)a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic, polytechnic university, Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, technical institute/college, or equivalent; and three years’ relevant post-qualification experience; or
- (ii)a Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 2 (Steam or Motor) issued by or acceptable to the Director of Marine, or equivalent; and one year’s relevant post-qualification experience; and
- (b)good command in Chinese and English.
Hull and Deck Discipline
- (a)a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Naval Architecture from a Hong Kong polytechnic, polytechnic university, Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, technical institute/college, or equivalent; and three years’ relevant post-qualification experience; and
- (b)good command in Chinese and English.
Electrical Discipline
- (a)a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Electrical Engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic, polytechnic university, Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, technical institute/college, or equivalent; and three years’ relevant post-qualification experience; and
- (b)good command in Chinese and English.
