(a) To conduct calibration, installation and maintenance of audiological equipment; (b) To perform daily management for test chambers and resource libraries/rooms; (c) To oversee the stores and inventory of equipment and materials in test chambers; (d) To assist in the implementation of the outsourced audiological services including preparation of vouchers to students and liaison to service providers; (e) To conduct data entry, maintain related databases, and to perform basic analysis; (f) To provide technical and IT support for seminars, workshops and meetings; (g) To perform any other duties as required.

(a)(i) Level 2 or above in five subjects including two science subjects (Notes 1 and 2), in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent; or (ii) Level 2/Grade E or above (Note 3) in five subjects including two science subjects (Note 2), in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and (b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 (Note 3) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent; (c) A Diploma or Higher Certificate, preferably in Electronic, from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, or equivalent, is preferred; (d) A Certificate in Laboratory Technician from the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent; (e) At least 4-year related working experience in laboratory settings; (f) Experience in conducting calibration of audiological equipment is preferred; (g) Fluent in Cantonese; and (h) Familiar with Chinese & English input methods and computer operation systems such as Windows XP/7/8, spreadsheet, presentation and word processing software, etc.
