職責
獲取錄的申請人須就預防及控制船舶廢氣排放提供環境方面的專業支援及處理多方面的相關事宜。其主要職責包括：(a) 監察國際間對控制船舶廢氣排放的政策、技術和措施的發展；(b) 就涉及控制船舶廢氣排放的政策、立法、計劃及項目等事宜與相關的持份者聯絡；(c)統籌以航運及船舶業界為對象的諮詢會，並分析收集所得的意見;(d) 評估應用船舶廢氣減排措施的可行性及影響；(e) 籌劃及實施船舶廢氣減排措施；(f) 支援相關研究工作、計劃及項目的合約監管；(g)處理相關計劃的申請及查詢；及(h)執行上級人員委派的其他職務。
(註: 工作時間和地點或會按部門運作需要而變更。獲取錄者可能需要︰(a) 不定時工作，包括在晚上及週末工作；及(b) 偶爾在戶外工作。)
The successful candidate will be required to provide professional environmental support and handle miscellaneous matters from the perspective of prevention and control of marine emissions. The main duties include to: (a) monitor worldwide development of policy, technologies and measures to control marine emissions; (b) liaise with stakeholders on the policies, legislation, plans, programmes and projects related to control of marine emissions; (c) coordinate consultation meetings with the maritime trades and analyse the views collected; (d) assess the feasibility and implications of applying new measures to control maritime emissions; (e) plan and implement new measures to control maritime emissions; (f) support contract administration for environmental studies/researches/programmes; (g) handle applications and public enquiries on environmental programmes; and (h) perform any other duties assigned by senior officers.
(Note: The hours and venues of work may be varied having regard to the operational needs of the department. The successful candidate may be required to (a) work irregular hours and overtime, including evenings and weekends; and (b) work occasionally outdoors.)
入職條件
申請人須(a) 在相關的理科或工程科目中，考獲本港大學頒授的學位，或具備同等學歷；(b)於取得有關學歷後具有最少四年與環境保護相關的全職工作經驗，尤其與空氣污染管制或顧問研究等相關工作經驗為佳；(c)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績，或具同等成績（註：2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科（課程乙）E級成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年及以後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級成績）；及(d)具備控制空氣污染及顧問研究知識及工作經驗將獲優先考慮。
Candidates should have (a) a Hong Kong degree in a relevant science, or engineering subject, or equivalent; (b) minimum four years’ relevant full-time post-qualifications working experience in environmental protection, preferably in air pollution controls, consultancy studies or related areas; (c) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (Note: ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth); and (d) knowledge of and experience in air pollution control and consultancy is an advantage.
