職責
(一) 收集、分析、編製及監察大學教育資助委員會(教資會)資助大學的表現指標數據(包括界別表現衡量標準和院校自定主要表現指標);
(二) 檢視並實施 2025-28 三年期的新界別表現衡量標準;
(三) 檢視並進行學術規劃下的數據評估工作;
(四) 就發展香港成為國際專上教育樞紐的各項政策提供統計支援;
(五) 收集教資會資助大學的數據並進行統計分析,編制統計表格/報告,以及聯繫大學以核實數據;
(六) 協助提升教資會統計網站及開放數據的相關措施;
(七) 協助編制統計表格/報告以回應各政策局/部門、傳媒及公眾的數據要求或查詢;
(八) 監督個別教資會項目及措施,工作包括審閱大學提交的資料或報告、聯繫大學和相關持份者,以及監察大學落實有關項目及措施的情況;及
(九) 履行其他受指派的職責。

(a) To collect, analyse, compile and monitor the data of University Grants Committee (UGC)-funded universities’ performance indicators (comprising sector-wide performance measures (PMs) and institution-specific key performance indicators (KPIs));
(b) To review and implement the new set of PMs for 2025-28 Triennium;
(c) To review and conduct quantitative assessment for the Planning Exercise;
(d) To render statistical support to initiatives for developing Hong Kong into an international hub for post-secondary education;
(e) To conduct statistical analysis on data collected from UGC-funded universities, compile statistics tables / reports and liaise with contact points of the universities on verification of data;
(f) To assist in the upgrading of statistical information portal of the UGC and open data initiatives;
(g) To assist in compiling statistical tables / reports for handling data requests or enquiries from government bureaux / departments, media and public;
(h) To oversee individual projects and initiatives of the UGC, which include vetting of submissions and reports, liaison with universities and stakeholders as well as ongoing monitoring for their smooth implementation; and
(i) To perform other duties as assigned.

入職條件
(一) 持有香港任何一所大學頒授的統計學、數據科學、資訊管理、工商管理、社會科學的學士學位,或同等學歷;
(二) 在取得學士學位後具有2年全職與統計相關的工作經驗則更佳;
(三) 具備良好中、英語的會話及書寫能力,並在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷[中文運用及英文運用]中取得「二級」成績,或具備同等成績[參閱註];
(四) 具備良好的電腦知識和應用技巧,包括統計軟件[例如SAS]、電腦軟件、試算表、簡報及數據庫管理;
(五) 具備良好人際溝通技巧及表達能力;以及
(六) 能於壓力下工作及有強烈的責任感。

(a) have a Hong Kong bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Information Management, Business Administration, Social Science or equivalent;
(b) preferably with two years’ post-degree full-time working experience in statistical-related work;
(c) be proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English. The candidates should have met the language proficiency requirements of “Level 2” results in the two language papers of Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [See Note];
(d) good computer skills and knowledge of statistical software (e.g. SAS), PC software, spreadsheet, powerpoint presentation and database management;
(e) have good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; and
(f) able to work under pressure and have a strong sense of responsibility.
