職責
主要負責知識產權法律工作，例如制定政策，準備法律草擬指示，執行《商標條例》、《專利條例》、《註冊外觀設計條例》、《版權條例》及《集成電路的布圖設計（拓樸圖）條例》，進行準司法聆訊和作出書面裁決，提供法律意見予政府及推廣知識產權管理。
Mainly deployed on intellectual property legal work such as formulating policies, preparing law drafting instructions, administering the Trade Marks Ordinance, Patents Ordinance, Registered Designs Ordinance, Copyright Ordinance and Lay-out Design (Topography) of Integrated Circuits Ordinance, exercising quasi-judicial functions and handing down written decisions, providing legal advisory services to government, and promoting intellectual property management.
入職條件
申請人必須 ─
(a)(i) 在《律政人員條例》第2A條及附表2所規定的認可司法區內取得律師資格；或
(ii) 在《律政人員條例》第2A條及附表2所規定的認可司法區內取得大律師資格和全面執業權[註(1)]後，具備一年專業經驗﹔以及
(b) 符合語文能力的要求，即在綜合招聘考試的英文運用試卷取得“二級”成績，以及在中文運用試卷取得“一級”成績，或同等成績[註(2)]。
Candidates must -
(a)(i) be solicitors admitted in a recognized jurisdiction as stipulated under Section 2A and Schedule 2 of the Legal Officers Ordinance; or
(ii) be barristers with one year’s professional experience since attaining the right to full practice in a recognized jurisdiction as stipulated under Section 2A and Schedule 2 of the Legal Officers Ordinance [Note (1)]; and
(b) have met the language proficiency requirements of ‘Level 2’ result in the Use of English (UE) paper and ‘Level 1’ result in the Use of Chinese (UC) paper in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [Note (2)].
入職條件(註)
(1) 有全面執業權，但在取得全面執業權後並無一年專業經驗的大律師亦可申請。如獲取錄，入職薪金會定於某個適當的薪點，較律師薪級的起薪點為低。
(2)(a) 綜合招聘考試中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為“二級”、“一級”或“不及格”，並以“二級”為最高等級。
(b) 政府在聘任公務員時，香港中學文憑考試中國語文科第5級或以上成績；或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科C級或以上的成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的二級成績。香港中學文憑考試中國語文科第4級成績；或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科D級的成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的一級成績。
(c) 香港中學文憑考試英國語文科第5級或以上成績；或香港高級程度會考英語運用科C級或以上成績；或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (GCE A Level) English Language科C級或以上成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的二級成績。香港中學文憑考試英國語文科第4級成績；或香港高級程度會考英語運用科D級的成績；或GCE A Level English Language科D級成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的一級成績。
(d) 在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上，並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績的人士，在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的二級成績。IELTS考試成績必須在職位申請期內其中任何一日(即2016年8月12日至2016年9月8日)有效。
(3) 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。申請人在基本法測試的表現會佔其整體表現的一個適當比重。
(4) 如工作表現令人滿意，可晉升為高級律師。高級律師現時月薪由105,880元起。受聘人員可能有機會遠赴海外參加國際會議，以及與國際社會知識產權界人士接觸。
