(a) Engaging with relevant parties in the financial services industry and conducting in-depth policy research/studies related to finance education and the development of human capital in the financial services industry; (b) Conducting in-depth research/studies related to economic and financial market developments and prepare relevant research papers, reports, presentation materials and briefing materials; (c) Participating in meetings with relevant parties in the financial services industry to gather views on strategies and measures to further the development of Hong Kong’s financial services industry; (d) Providing secretarial support to the FSDC and its committees and working groups; (e) Assisting in organising conferences and workshops as necessary; and (f) Performing other duties as required.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in finance or economics; (b) At least 10 years’ post-qualification experience in the financial services industry, of which at least 5 years should be in a senior managerial role. Solid experience in economic or financial market research or analysis will be of an advantage; (c) “Level 3” or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or equivalent; (d) High proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, and fluency in Putonghua is a must; and (e) Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
