Main duties of the Senior Researcher are: <br> <br>

• (a)to undertake research and produce research papers on welfare and labour policies; <br>
• (b)to engage and manage collaborative partners including researchers, research bodies and other stakeholders to conduct researches; <br>
• (c)to supervise the work of Research Assistants; and <br>
• (d)to perform any other duties as and when required.

Candidates should: <br>

• (a)have a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Social Sciences by research in sociology, political science, social work/welfare, psychology or other related disciplines from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; <br>
• (b)have at least seven years of research experience in the area of social welfare or labour policies with good track records in research grants and publication. Tenured Associate Professors are preferred [See Note
• (1)]; <br>
• (c)have excellent communication and presentation skills and be able to communicate effectively (both written and spoken) with internal and external stakeholders; and <br>
• (d)have excellent writing proficiency in English and Chinese, be fluent in spoken English and Cantonese.
