職責
獲錄用者須協調減少廢物計劃的各種事宜和提供運作上的支援。主要職責包括：-
(a) 負責減廢計劃的聯絡事宜；
(b) 協助制定切實可行減廢計劃的措施;
(c) 管理減廢計劃的數據庫；
(d) 回應公眾查詢並準備統計分析；
(e) 在實地考察中擔任和發揮監督角色，為屋邨，建築物，鄉村和其他場所就實踐減廢和回收提供現場支援；
(f) 協助組織並開展教育和宣傳活動，以及舉行廢物源頭分類和乾淨回收的活動；和
(g) 監督非公務員的日常工作。
(其他相關的工作要求：工作時間及地點須視乎部門的運作需要而定。獲錄用者或需(a)不定時及超時工作，包括晚上、周末和周日及公眾假期；以及(b)在戶外工作。)

The successful candidate will coordinate various issues related to waste reduction programmes and provide operational support. The main duties include:-
(a) to serve as the contact point for waste reduction programmes;
(b) to assist in formulating strategies to implement waste reduction programmes;
(c) to maintain the database of waste reduction programmes;
(d) to respond to public enquiries and prepare the statistical analysis;
(e) to carry out and perform a supervisory role in site visits for rendering on-site support to estates, buildings, villages and other premises on practicing waste reduction and recycling;
(f) to assist in organizing and conducting education and promotion activities and events on proper waste separation at source and clean recycling; and
(g) to supervise non-civil servant staff for daily operations.
(Other Job-related Requirements: The hours and venues of work may be varied having regard to the operational needs of the department. The successful candidate may be required to (a) work irregular hours and overtime, including evenings and weekends and public holidays; and (b) work outdoors.)

(a) 持有本港大學頒授的相關科學或工程科目的學位，或具備同等學歷;
(b) 在取得學位後具有最少四年在減廢、再造／回收、廢物設施管理或其他相關領域的全職工作經驗；
(c) 符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科考獲第3等級（註）或以上成績，或具同等成績（註：2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科（課程乙）C級成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或以後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第3級的成績）；
(d) 具良好中英文寫作能力，能操流利英語和粵語及通曉普通話；以及
(e) 具備蒐集資訊、建立關係網絡及發表簡報的知識和經驗。

(b) minimum four years' relevant full-time post-qualification working experience in waste reduction, recovery/recycling, waste facilities management or other related domains;
(c) met the language proficiency requirement of Level 3 (Note) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (Note: “Grade C” in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 3” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth);
(d) good English and Chinese writing skills, fluency in spoken English and Cantonese and proficiency in Putonghua; and
(e) knowledge of and experience in gathering information, networking and presentation.
