Mainly deployed to –

(a) provide on-site support at the Community Vaccination Centres set up for the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme, including but not limited to the storage, dispensing and monitoring of vaccines, etc.;

(b) perform dispensing, manufacturing and procurement duties in Government dispensaries and pharmaceutical manufactory; and

(c) take charge of a small dispensary.

Note : required to work irregular hours or perform shift duties, work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Candidates should have -

(I)(a) a Certificate in Dispensing Studies from the Vocational Training Council, or equivalent; and
(i) completed the 3-year on-the-job training in dispensing organised by the Hospital Authority; or
(ii) completed 3 years' on-the-job training in dispensing organised by recognised institutions, 1 year of which should be post-certificate;

OR
(b) a Higher Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science (Technology and Management) from the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent;

AND
(II) met the language proficiency requirements of “Level 2” or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [Note(1)].

Note: Preference may be given to candidates with knowledge in handling computer systems.
