職責
終審法院首席法官官邸合約家務總管的主要職責是-
(a) 負責終審法院首席法官官邸(官邸)的日常運作;
(b) 管理和督導官邸的家務人員;
(c) 管理及執行官邸的家居事務,包括清潔打掃(例如 : 官邸、室內外陳設、家居物品及器皿等)、宴會備席、招待賓客、簡單洗衣等;
(d) 在官邸及其他地方舉行有關司法機構的飲宴或聚會等活動時,負責相關的餐飲款待及籌備工作;
(e) 負責有關家居物品及室內外陳設的保養、庫存紀錄、維修及更換工作;及
(f) 在官邸及其他地方執行與家居有關的事務。
(附註: 終審法院首席法官官邸合約家務總管須穿著制服及不定時和逾時工作,包括在晚間、週末及公眾假期工作。如有需要,終審法院首席法官官邸合約家務總管或須在位於山頂的官邸留宿,官邸所處地點可乘搭公共交通工具前往。)

The Contract Chief Steward in the Chief Justice’s Residence is mainly deployed on -
(a) running of the Chief Justice’s Residence (the Residence);
(b) managing and supervising the work of domestic staff in the Residence;
(c) managing and performing domestic work in the Residence, including cleaning (e.g. the premises, furnishings, household items and wares, etc.), tidying-up places, preparing for banquets, serving guests in receptions, simple laundry, etc.;
(d) serving food and drinks in banquets and undertaking work in relation to Judiciary events and functions held in and outside the Residence;
(e) arranging maintenance, stock-taking, repairing and replacement of household items and furnishings; and
(f) performing other domestic related duties in and outside the Residence.
(Note: The Contract Chief Steward in the Chief Justice’s Residence is required to wear uniform and to work irregular hours and overtime including evenings, weekends and public holidays. He / She may also be required to stay overnight in the Residence located at the Peak, if necessary. The Residence is accessible by public transport.)

(d) 具備良好的人際溝通技巧;及
(e) 懂基本電腦文書處理者為佳。
(備註1:申請人所有工作經驗以截止申請日期或之前為準。申請人如獲邀參加遴選面試,必須出示工作經驗證明文件之正本,以證明其已符合上述(a)部分的入職條件。申請人如未能提交所須文件的正本以供核實,其申請將不獲考慮。)

Candidates should –
(a) have at least nine years’ working experience, of which at least five years in supervisory role in –
(i) providing domestic service in a large household; or
(ii) serving guests or providing banqueting service in a large household, club, hotel or high-end restaurant;
(b) be able to supervise a number of staff;
(c) be able to communicate effectively in Chinese and English;
(d) have good interpersonal and communication skills; and
(e) ability of basic computer word processing is preferred.
(Remark 1: All work experience required should be obtained on or before the closing date for application. Candidates who are invited for selection interview will be required to produce the original copies of work proof showing that they have met the entry requirements stated in (a) above. If candidates fail to produce the required original copies of work proof for verification, their applications will not be considered.)
(Remark 2: Candidates who are invited for the selection interview will normally receive the invitation within ten weeks from the closing date for application. This period may be longer in exceptional circumstances, e.g. when a large number of applications are received or when there are other complications. In the light of the latest public health situation, the Judiciary may defer the selection interview if the situation warrants. If the selection interview is deferred, candidates will be notified separately. As invitations/notifications will be issued by email or by post, candidates should provide accurate email address and correspondence address and ensure that their email accounts can receive incoming emails properly. Those who are not invited for the selection interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.)
