The main duties of the Senior Project Manager are:
(a)To provide secretariat and executive support in scheme management and project work, including liaison and coordination with other Government bureaux/departments and stakeholders;
(b)To provide secretariat support to Government advisory committees and working groups;
(c)To support and implement various projects, including publicity and public education programmes on women-related matters; and
(d)To carry out any other duties as and when required.
(a)have a Bachelor’s or higher degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;
(b)have at least 8 years’ post-degree full-time work experience in public affairs, project management and/or executive position, preferably in the business sector, public bodies or Government [See Note (1)];
(c)have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to communicate effectively (both written and spoken) with internal and external stakeholders, including the business sector, Government bureaux/departments, non-governmental organisations, etc.;
(d)have excellent writing proficiency in English and Chinese, be fluent in spoken English and Cantonese, with Level 3 or above in English Language and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Note (2)];
(e)preferably have solid experience in providing secretariat support, especially in Government bureaux/departments or government advisory and statutory bodies;
(f)have strong organisational ability, and planning and analytical skills;
(g)be proficient in computer software applications including Lotus Notes, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and online search engines; and
(h)be able to work independently and under pressure.
