職責
(a)開展、策劃、督導及評鑑語文教學支援組向學校提供的專業支援，包括策劃、推行及評鑑其校本課程以應對課程主要更新重點和教育局的策略方向；
(b)加強部門所有人員向學校提供專業支援的能力；
(c)督導小型研究和發展項目，以促進教學反思，產生並推廣有用的課程發展經驗予教育界；
(d)向學校提供專業語文教學支援；
(e)管理行政、研究和技術支援小組的工作；
(f)就不同咨詢委員會、工作小組和跨部門專責小組提供服務；以及
(g)進行其他被委派的職務。

(a) To initiate, plan, direct and evaluate the professional support given to schools in planning, implementing and evaluating their school-based curricula for addressing the major renewed emphases and strategic directions of the Bureau;
(b) To strengthen capacity of all staff of the section in providing professional support to schools;
(c) To direct small scale research and development studies to promote reflective practices and generate useful experiences in curriculum development for dissemination to the sector;
(d) To provide professional support on language education to schools;
(e) To oversee the work of the administrative, research and technical support team;
(f) To serve on different advisory committees, working groups and cross-divisional task groups; and
(g) To perform any other duties as assigned.

入職條件
(a)持有香港所頒授主修中國語文/英國語文及/或中國語文/英國語文教育學士學位，或具備同等學歷 [見註(iii) 及(iv)]；
(b)持有香港專上教育機構所頒授的教育證書，或具備同等學歷[見註(iv)]；
(c)符合語文能力要求，即在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷[中文運用及英文運用]中取得「二級」成績，或具備同等成績[見註(v)] ；
(d)在由公務員事務局舉辦為招聘公務員而設的《基本法》測試或由教育局舉辦的《基本法》測試中取得及格成績[見註(vii)]；
(e)在取得上述(a)及(b)的學歷後，具備有不少於12年的相關工作經驗，包括教學，及/或發展中國語文/英國語文或相關學科/範籌的課程/資源，及/或為教師舉辦專業發展活動 [見註(vi)] ；
(f)熟知本地教育制度和課程改革情況，了解現時教育發展趨勢，並具備良好的領導能力及人際技巧；
(g)面試者或須於面試當天接受筆試；以及
(h)申請人若：(1) 持有香港所頒授有關教育或與本職位工作相關學科的更高學歷；以及(2) 具備高級職位的管理經驗，可獲優先考慮。

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree majoring in Chinese/English Language and/or Chinese/English Language education, or equivalent [See Notes (iii) and (iv)];
(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary education institution, or equivalent [See Note (iv)];
(c) Met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 2' results in the two language papers [Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)] in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [See Note (v)];
(d) Obtained a pass result in the Basic Law Test in a civil service recruitment exercise conducted by the Civil Service Bureau or a Basic Law Test administered by the Education Bureau [See Note (vii)];
(e) At least 12 years' relevant post-qualification [as specified in (a) and (b)] experience in teaching, and/or curriculum/resources development in Chinese/English Language or related subjects/areas, and/or conducting professional development activities for teachers [See Note (vi)];
(f) Sound knowledge of the local education system and the curriculum reform, knowledge of current trends in education development, and good leadership and interpersonal skills;
(g) Candidates may be required to take a written test on the day of selection interview; and
(h) Preference will be given to candidates who have (1) a Hong Kong higher degree in education or a discipline relevant to the duties of the post; and (2) experience at the senior level of management.
(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary education institution, or equivalent [See Note (iv)];

(v)綜合招聘考試的中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」，並以「二級」為最高等級。香港中學文憑考試中國語文科「第5級」或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級或以上的成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」成績。香港中學文憑考試英國語文科「第5級」或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考英語運用科或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) English Language科「C」級或以上成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。 在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上，並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績，在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內，會視為已符合課程主任職位的英語能力要求。IELTS考試成績必須在職位申請期內其中任何一日有效。
(vi)申請人須詳細述明於取得有關學歷後所具備的相關工作經驗及性質。
(vii)教育局會測試所有應徵課程主任職位人士的《基本法》知識。在《基本法》測試取得及格成績是課程主任職位的入職條件。申請人必須在《基本法》測試中取得及格成績方會獲考慮聘用。如申請人曾參加由公務員事務局舉辦為招聘公務員而設的《基本法》測試(學位╱專業程度職系)或由教育局舉辦的《基本法》測試，並在滿分100分中取得 53分或以上(即在15題中答對8題或以上)，會被視為已符合相關要求。申請人在《基本法》測試的成績會佔其整體表現評分的一個適當比重。
