兼職植物標本室工作員主要工作是協助製作臘葉標本，包括釘裝新的植物標本、檢查和修復舊標本，並定期進行館藏檢查，以預防蟲害破壞植物標本及其他收藏品。另外，工作員亦需在偏遠地方協助進行實地考察及執行由上級分配的其他工作。
職責
A Part-time Herbarium Worker is mainly deployed on assisting in preparation of dry plant specimens; mounting new plant specimens; checking and repairing old specimens; carrying out regular check to the herbarium collection to prevent them from any pest infestation; conducting fieldwork at remote places; and carrying out any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
入職條件
申請人須(a)已完成小學教育；(b)曾在任何植物標本室或等同機構/組織工作達5年或以上，並具相關的工作經驗；(c)能閱讀、書寫簡單的中文及操流利粵語；(d)能夠識別英文字母；及(e)能夠通過技能測試。
The applicant should
- (a)have completed Primary education;
- (b)have at least 5 years’ relevant working experience in any herbarium or equivalent institute / organization;
- (c)be able to read and write simple Chinese and speak fluent Cantonese;
- (d)be able to recognize English alphabets; and
- (e)be able to pass a trade test.
