職責
(a) 監察學校推行「促進小學英語學習津貼計劃」獲批校本課程措施的進度;
(b) 就學校實行的措施作評估;
(c) 蒐集及整理學校數據,以作統計分析及撰寫評估報告;
(d) 建立網上學與教資源庫,與學校及本地教育工作者分享;
(e) 籌辦相關分享會/活動/出版,以推廣學校的良好實踐經驗;
(f) 就「促進小學英語學習津貼計劃」及其他資助計劃與教育局相關組別及語文教育及研究常務委員會(語常會)[參閱備註]委員聯絡;
(g) 為推行與語文基金有關的大型活動及新資助計劃提供支援,並定期向上司報告工作進展;以及
(h) 按上司的要求,執行其他獲指派的任務。
[備註:語常會於一九九六年成立,就一般語文教育事宜及語文基金的運用,向政府提出建議。]

(a) To monitor schools' progress of implementing the approved school-based curriculum initiatives of the Grant Scheme on Promoting Effective English Language Learning in Primary Schools (PEEGS);
(b) To evaluate the implementation of the measures undertaken by the schools;
(c) To collect and compile school data for statistical analysis and draft the evaluation reports;
(d) To build an online learning and teaching resources archive for sharing among schools and local educators;
(e) To organise relevant sharing sessions / activities / publication to disseminate good practices of schools;
(f) To liaise with relevant sections of the Education Bureau and Members of the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) [See Remarks] on implementation of the PEEGS and other grant schemes;
(g) To render support to large-scale events related to the Language Fund; support the launching of new grant scheme(s), and report regularly to the supervisors on work progress, etc.; and
(h) To perform any other duties as and when required by the supervisors.
[Remarks : SCOLAR was established in 1996 to advise Government on language education issues in general as well as on the use of the Language Fund.]

入職條件
(a) 持有香港所頒授的學士學位,主修英國語文者優先,或具備同等學歷;
(b) 持有香港專上教育機構所頒授的教育證書,主修英國語文者優先,或具備同等學歷;
(c) 取得學位後,具備最少4年於本地公營學校或直接資助計劃學校教授英文科目的教學經驗;
(d) 符合語文能力要求,即在香港中學文憑試或香港中學會考的中國語文科及英國語文科考獲第3級或以上成績,或具備同等成績[參閱註];
(e) 具備本地英國語文課程知識;以及
(f) 具備教育局或教育機構的行政及/或項目管理工作經驗者優先。

(c) At least 4 years' relevant post-degree experience in teaching English in local public sector schools or Direct Subsidy Scheme schools;
(d) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Note];
(e) Knowledge of local English Language curriculum; and
(f) Working experience in administrative work and/or project management in the Education Bureau/educational organisations preferred.

入職條件(註)
政府在聘任時,2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙) C級及E級成績,在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第3級和第2級成績。
