Major duties of a Compliance Officer (Infection Control) will include the following:
(a) To support Compliance Supervisor (Infection Control) in ensuring that the staff of designated quarantine hotels properly follow the infection control guidelines set up by the Department of Health;
(b) To support Compliance Supervisor (Infection Control) in coaching and reinforcing staff of the designated quarantine hotels on the infection control requirements, e.g. use of PPE for performing different duties, compliance of PPE donning and doffing, hand hygiene practice, proper cleaning and disinfection practice to hotel’s common areas and guest rooms, etc.;
(c) To assist Compliance Supervisor (Infection Control) in stationing/patrolling at designated quarantine hotels to ensure compliance of infection control requirements; and
(d) To report non-compliance cases to Compliance Supervisor (Infection Control) for follow-up actions as appropriate.

Successful candidates should expect to be required to perform outdoor work and work overtime, irregular hours or shifts, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Candidates should –
(a) possess a Certificate of Registration issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong;
(b) possess a valid practising certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong;
(c) have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [Note];
(d) be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English;
(e) possess good communication and interpersonal skills; and
(f) possess ten (10) years or more of full-time post-qualification experience in public health institutes.
