• 1.To undertake research and prepare research papers on public policies;
• 2.To draft articles and speeches;
• 3.To draft replies to public enquiries;
• 4.To assist in the conduct of community engagement exercises;
• 5.To assist in liaising with Government bureaux/ departments, community organisations, and other stakeholders, as appropriate; and
• 6.To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Candidates should have-

• (a)a bachelor degree preferably in social sciences, public administration or other related disciplines from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; and a minimum of five years’ full-time post-qualification working experience;
• (b)at least four years of research experience in the area of public policies with good track records [See Note (1)];
• (c)excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills, self-motivation, ability to work independently and responsibly;
• (d)good understanding of the government system and community affairs; experience in liaising with community/ youth organisations would be an advantage;
• (e)effective research skills, including the use of online resources; experience in writing up research reports would be an advantage; and
• (f)good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, with Level 3 or above in English Language and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Note (2)].
