- (a)協助用戶和區域管理員解決有關操作地理資訊系統軟件和相關硬件的技術問題，並給他們提供實地及遙距操作支援；
- (b)就重要地理資訊系統和數據資料提供備份服務；
- (c)開發及維修保養內部的地理資訊系統應用程式；
- (d)編製使用手冊，並為終端用戶提供培訓；
- (e)進行地理資訊系統軟件升級工程；
- (f)就規劃署開發地理資訊系統，提供技術意見；
- (g)收集用戶需求資料、擬備需求規格及制訂解決方案；以及
- (h)監察合約商所提供的服務、及進行驗收測試。
職責
- (a)Assisting users and local administrators to resolve technical problems related to the operation of GIS software and related hardware, and providing on-site and remote operational support to them;
- (b)Providing backup service for critical GIS systems and data / information;
- (c)Developing and maintaining in-house GIS applications;
- (d)Preparing user guides and providing training to end-users;
- (e)Carrying out GIS software upgrading;
- (f)Providing technical advice on the development of GIS for Planning Department;
- (g)Collecting requirements, preparing requirement specifications, formulating solutions; and
- (h)Monitoring contractor service delivery and performing acceptance tests.
入職條件
申請人必須
- (a)持有地理資訊系統、資訊科技或電腦科學學士學位，或具備同等學歷；
- (b)持有香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科達第2等級或以上成績，或具備同等學歷 [政府聘任非公務員合約僱員時，過往香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科(課程乙)E級的成績，在行政上會視為等同2007年或以後香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科第2等級的成績]；
- (c)具有最少五年資訊科技及地理資訊系統方面有關伺服器管理、項目推行、應用系統程式開發與維修，及用戶培訓等豐富實際工作經驗；
- (d)具有最少兩年在微軟視窗平台上使用ORACLE及ArcGIS╱ArcIMS╱ArcSDE╱ArcGIS Server進行應用系統分析、設計、發展、系統推行與維修保養等豐富實際工作經驗；
- (e)具有最少兩年使用Visual Basic.NET、C/C#、ASP.NET、JAVA或SQL等常用程式編製語言來編寫及維修保養應用系統程式的實際工作經驗；以及
- (f)具有支援用戶和管理員操作地理資訊系統的經驗。 如申請人具有推行涉及城市規劃工作及相關範疇的地理資訊系統的經驗或具備微軟認證數據庫管理員(MCDBA)、Oracle DBA OCA╱OCP╱OCM、微軟認證解決方案開發專家(MCSD)、微軟認證應用程序開發專家(MCAD)或SUN認證JAVA程式編製員的資格，會有優勢。
Candidates should have
- (a)a Bachelor degree in Geographic Information System (GIS), Information Technology (IT) or Computer Science, or equivalent;
- (b)Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [For the purpose of appointment of non-civil service contract staff, ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE is accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 2’ in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth];
- (c)at least 5 years’ solid hands-on IT and GIS working experience in server administration, implementation of projects, application system development and maintenance and user training;
- (d)at least 2 years’ solid hands-on working experience in application system analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance using ORACLE and ArcGIS / ArcIMS / ArcSDE / ArcGIS Server on Microsoft Windows platforms;
- (e)at least 2 years’ hands-on working experience in using common programming languages such as Visual Basic.NET, C / C#, ASP.NET, JAVA or SQL to code and maintain application systems; and
- (f)experience in providing user and administrator support service on GIS. Candidates will have an advantage if they have experience in implementation of GIS for town planning tasks and related fields or having qualification in Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Oracle DBA OCA / OCP / OCM; Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), or SUN Certified JAVA Programmer.
