負責整理法律意見，處理與建築法律有關的複雜申索、爭議及案件，並且就有關申索及爭議向委託部門提供專家指引和意見。
職責
To be responsible for handling the legal advice and conducting of complex claims, disputes and cases relating to construction law and providing expert guidance and advice to client departments on claims and disputes.

申請人須
- (a)
- (i)在《律政人員條例》第2A條及附表2所規定的認可司法區內取得律師資格後具備最少六年專門從事建築法律方面的經驗；或(ii)在《律政人員條例》第2A條及附表2所規定的認可司法區內取得大律師資格和全面執業權後，具備最少七年專門從事建築法律方面的經驗；以及(b)在香港中學會考的英國語文科及中國語文科成績至少達第2等級，或具同等學歷（註：政府在聘任非公務員合約員工時，過往香港中學會考英國語文科（課程乙）和中國語文科E級的成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考英國語文科和中國語文科第2等級的成績）。未具足夠規定專業經驗(但必須於取得律師資格後具備最少四年專業經驗，或於取得大律師資格和全面執業權後具備最少五年專業經驗)，或未具有規定中國語文資格者亦可申請。
Candidates should
- (a)
- (i)be solicitors with at least 6 years’ professional experience specialising in construction law since admission in a recognized jurisdiction as stipulated under Section 2A and Schedule 2 of the Legal Officers Ordinance or
- (ii)be barristers with at least 7 years’ professional experience specialising in construction law since attaining the right to full practice in a recognized jurisdiction as stipulated under Section 2A and Schedule 2 of the Legal Officers Ordinance; and
- (b)have attained Level 2 or above in English Language and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or equivalent
(Note: For non-civil service appointment purpose, ‘Grade E’ in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in previous HKCEE is accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 2’ in English Language and Chinese Language in the 2007 HKCEE or thereafter). Candidates with less working experience (a minimum of 4 years’ professional experience for solicitors or 5 years’ professional experience for barristers) or without the stipulated Chinese language requirement may also apply.
