Successful candidate will be deployed to carry out the following duties in respect of Kai Tak Development in the Civil Engineering and Development Department:-

• (1)To coordinate interfacing engineering and programming issues in relation to planned and existing infrastructures;
• (2)To handle traffic and environmental issues;
• (3)To coordinate stakeholders within the Government and provide engineering inputs in public engagement exercises and consultation forums;
• (4)To monitor project progress and technical findings;
• (5)To provide support on project management and funding control as necessary; and
• (6)To perform any other duties assigned as appropriate.

Candidate should

• (a)possess Corporate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (Civil Discipline) elected after 5 December 1975, or equivalent (see Note (1)); and
• (b)attain Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (see Note (2)). Notes :
• (1)Applicants holding non-local professional qualifications only should prove the equivalency of such qualifications by the closing date for application, with supporting documents such as evidence of acceptance of their qualifications by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers for admission to its Corporate Membership (Civil Discipline).
• (2)Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
