A Supplies Supervisor II is mainly deployed to take charge of a smaller scale departmental store or to assist senior officers in general storekeeping duties including registry, data processing and other related duties as assigned by senior officers, or to render support to senior officers in a specific aspect of supply chain related function. He/she is required to supervise staff under his/her charge and use computer as a tool in the discharge of duties including the use of word processing and spreadsheet software.

Candidates should have – (1)(a)Level 2 or equivalent [see Note (1)] or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent; or (b) Level 2 [see Note (2)] / Grade E or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; OR (2) (a) Certificate of Proficiency in Stores Supervision or Advanced Certificate in Storekeeping issued by the former Hong Kong Polytechnic; or (b) Supply Officers Ordinary Course Certificate issued by the former Hong Kong Technical College; or (c) Certificate in Purchasing & Supply issued by the Hong Kong Baptist University - School of Continuing Education; or (d) Certificate in Stores Supervision or Certificate in Purchasing & Supply or Diploma in Purchasing & Stores Supervision issued by a former technical institute of the Vocational Training Council; or (e) Certificate in Stores Supervision or Certificate in Purchasing & Supply issued by the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education; or equivalent; AND (3) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 [see Note (2)] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent.
