在小學「以英語為母語的英語敎師」計劃內擔任語文學習計劃顧問。有關的職責包括:
(a) 支援由外籍英語教師組設計的小學英國語文學習計劃(下稱「計劃」)的修訂和發展工作;
(b) 通過執行以下職務,以支援學校實施計劃:
• 支援約5所參與由外籍英語教師組設計的計劃的小學,透過共同備課會議,為英語教師,包括以英語為母語的英語敎師,提供專業支援,並實現以下目標:
- 讓教師充分了解外籍英語教師組所推行的計劃之最新發展;
- 提升教師對共同備課和協作教學重要性的認識,並且能從中獲益;
- 改善教師在課程調適,運用資源和課堂管理方面的技巧;
- 建立共同合作的環境;以及
- 運用以學習者為中心及創新的策略,以培養學生學習英語的興趣和語文能力。
• 通過示範、共同教學、照顧學生的學習差異,並給予有建設性的建議及提供課堂支援;
• 協助參與計劃的學校使用新發展的及/或優化的資源和教材以配合他們的需要;
• 設計和舉辦校本專業發展活動,以支援計劃的實施;以及
• 協助推動家長參與,以實現計劃目標。
(c) 規劃、發展、組織、舉辦和檢討敎師專業發展活動,以促進計劃的持續發展,其中包括:
• 從八月到十一月舉辦的一系列全日工作坊,以支援計劃的實施;
• 至少兩個不同主題的敎師專業發展工作坊,如拼音教學,解碼能力和閱讀策略、發展與運用多元文本以豐富小學英語課程、電子學習和課程及教學調適等。
(d) 如有需要,按敎育局局長或其指定人員的要求,執行與為「以英語為母語的英語敎師」計劃有關的其他職務。
To be the Literacy Programme Consultant (PNET). The duties are:
(a) To support the refinement and development of the NET Section's primary literacy programmes.
(b) To provide school support for primary literacy programme implementation by performing the following duties:
• to provide professional support for English teachers, including NETs, in co-planning meetings, in about 5 primary schools participating in the NET Section's primary literacy programmes to achieve the objectives below:
- Teachers are kept well informed of the latest developments in the literacy programmes run by the NET Section;
- Teachers develop a heightened awareness of the importance of, and benefit from, collaborative lesson planning and co-teaching;
- Teachers' skills in curriculum adaptation, use of resources and classroom management are improved;
- A collaborative environment is established; and
- Learner-centred and innovative strategies are used for developing students' interest in English learning and their literacy skills.
• to provide classroom support through modelling, co-teaching, catering for learner diversity and giving constructive feedback;
• to assist programme schools in using newly developed and/or refined resources and material appropriate to their needs;
• to design and conduct school-based professional development programmes to support programme implementation in the next phase; and
• to render assistance in promoting parental involvement in achieving the programme objectives.
(c) To plan, develop, organise, conduct and review Centralised Professional Development (CPD) workshops to support literacy programme development and implementation, including:
• the full series of whole-day workshops which supports the implementation of the NET Section’s primary literacy programmes run from August to November;
• at least two CPD workshops on various topics, such as the teaching of phonics, decoding skills and reading strategies, development and use of text sets, e-learning and differentiation.
(d) To perform any other duties related to the NET Scheme in Primary Schools as and when required by the Permanent Secretary for Education (PS(Ed)) or such officers as the PS(Ed) may nominate.

(a) 持有本港專上教育機構所頒授的教育證書,或具備同等學歷;及最少十五年教授小學英文科的經驗;
(b) 在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考,英國語文科考獲第2級[註]或以上,或具備同等成績;
(c) 具備教授英語作為外語或第二語言的資歷為佳;
(d) 具備敎授英語的碩士學歷可獲優先;
(甲類及乙類)
(a) 具備最少三年在香港小學發展和實踐英國語文學習計劃;
(b) 具備最少三年設計和舉辦敎師專業發展活動予本地的英文科教師及以英語為母語的英語敎師的經驗;
(c) 具備計劃評估的經驗;
(d) 具備領導課程發展計劃經驗者可獲優先;
(e) 擁有良好英語會話及書寫能力;
(f) 擁有在壓力下工作的良好能力;
(g) 具備良好運用科技支援語文教學的知識;
(h) 擁有良好諮詢技巧;以及
(i) 具備良好人際交往和組識能力。
Applicants should possess:
(Category A)
(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, preferably majoring in English, or equivalent;
(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent;
(c) Level 3 [Note] or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
(d) At least 6 years of post-degree experience in teaching English at the primary level;
(e) Master's degree in English language teaching preferred.
(Category B)
(a) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent; plus at least 15 years of teaching English at the primary level;
(b) Level 2 [Note] or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
(c) Qualifications for the teaching of English as a Foreign Language or as a Second Language (TEFL/TESL) preferred;
(d) Master's degree in English language teaching preferred.
(For both Category A & B)
(a) At least 3 years of experience in developing and implementing literacy programmes suitable for primary students in Hong Kong;
(b) At least 3 years of experience in designing and conducting professional development programmes for English teachers, including NETs and local English teachers (LETs), in local schools;
(c) Experience in project evaluation preferred;
(d) Experience in leading curriculum development projects preferred;
(e) Good spoken and written English;
(f) Strong ability to work under pressure;
(g) A sound knowledge of using technology to support language learning and teaching;
(h) Good consultancy skills; and
(i) Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
