(a) To plan and organise professional development programmes for capacity building of school leaders and teachers to facilitate the promotion of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in local primary and secondary schools; (b) to develop and try out STEM related curriculum resources in schools; (c) to offer expert advice on effective means to promote STEM education in schools and offer professional support to STEM related events; and (d) to perform any other duties as assigned.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or equivalent; (b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent; (c) Met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 3' or above in English Language and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [see Note (ii); (d) At least 10 years' relevant post-qualification experience in teaching and/or curriculum development [see Notes (iii) and (iv)]; (e) Experiences in leading curriculum development projects on Science / Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education; (f) Possessing ability to network with local science teachers; and (g) Good leadership and interpersonal skills.
