獲取錄的申請人將調派至發展局工務科轄下各組／辦事處工作，負責以下職務(註4、5)－
- (a)協助制定文物保育政策；
- (b)協助推行文物保育措施；
- (c)協助持份者及公眾參與文物保育措施的推行工作，並與有關機構聯絡；
- (d)協助推行保育及活化歷史建築項目；
- (e)從文物保育政策的角度，協助為政府部門/公營機構負責的計劃、研究報告和基本工程項目提供意見；以及
- (f)按需要執行其他獲委派的職務。

職責
Successful candidates will be deployed to various sections/offices in the Works Branch of the Development Bureau to undertake the following duties (Notes 4 and 5) –
- (a)to assist in the development and formulation of policies on heritage conservation;
- (b)to assist in the implementation of initiatives on heritage conservation;
- (c)to assist in the engagement of stakeholders and the public in the implementation of heritage conservation initiatives and to liaise with organisations concerned;
- (d)to assist in the implementation of projects involving preservation and adaptive re-use of historic buildings;
- (e)to assist in providing comments on plans, study reports and capital works projects undertaken by other government departments/public bodies from heritage conservation policy angle; and
- (f)to perform any other duties assigned as appropriate.
入職條件
本職位男女均可申請，申請人必須(註1)─
- (a)
- (i)為香港建築師學會的會員，或具備同等資格(註2)；以及為香港建築師註冊管理局的註冊建築師；
- (ii)為香港工程師學會於1975年12月5日後選取的正式會員(土木、結構或屋宇設備界別)，或具備同等資格(註2)；
- (iii)香港測量師學會的正式會員(建築測量或產業測量組)，或具備同等資格(註2)；
- (b)在取得資格後，具備最少四年相關範疇的工作經驗，當中包括處理建築翻新項目的經驗；
- (c)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第2級(註3)或以上成績，或具同等成績；
- (d)中、英文講寫能力俱佳；以及
- (e)溝通及人際技巧良好。 申請人如未能符合入職條件(a)至(c)中任何一項，其申請書將不獲受理。
This position is open to both male and female. Applicants should (Note 1)–
- (a)
- (i)be Members of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (“HKIA”), or equivalent (Note 2); and Registered Architects of the Architects Registration Board of Hong Kong;
- (ii)be Corporate Members of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (“HKIE”) (Civil, Structural or Building Services Discipline) elected after 5 December 1975, or equivalent (Note 2); or
- (iii)be Corporate Members of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (“HKIS”) (Building Surveying or General Practice Division), or equivalent (Note 2);
- (b)have at least four years’ post-qualification working experience in the relevant field, including experience in handling building renovation projects;
- (c)have met the language proficiency requirements of ‘Level 2’ (Note 3) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
- (d)have good command of oral and written Chinese and English; and
- (e)have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Your application will NOT be considered if you fail to meet any of the entry requirements

- (1)申請人若能顯示對文物保育有深入見解和熱忱，將獲優先取錄。
- (2)為符合入職條件(a)項所載的要求，申請人如只持有非本地專業資格，應提交所需證明文件，證明該等資格等同本地有關專業資格，例如提供證據，證明申請人的資格在截止申請日期或之前，已獲香港建築師學會、香港工程師學會或香港測量師學會接納為其會員／正式會員。有關申請人須郵寄證明文件副本到查詢地址。
- (3)政府在聘任非公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙)E級成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級成績。
