(a) To advise on the approach and methodologies related to the research and development on Applied Learning, specifically those related to the role of Applied Learning in life education and career planning;
(b) To work with stakeholders and quality assurance agencies in designing and putting in place the related research mechanism and process;
(c) To solicit support from trades / industries / professions for course development;
(d) To explore provision of workplace experience for students; and
(e) To undertake any other duties assigned.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent;
(b) At least 10 years' post-degree experiences with a profile in public and/or private sectors related to research, planning and implementation in curriculum development (preferably relevant to Applied Learning or vocational education), and/or life education and career planning;
(c) Candidates with a related higher degree or professional qualification preferred [See Note (i)];
(d) Candidates with proven experience as a project leader in managing a territory-wide large scale project related to education preferred [See Note (ii)];
(e) Good connection with professional bodies, industrial and business sectors;
(f) Good knowledge and skills in collecting and compiling both qualitative and quantitative data to support decision making of the management;
(g) Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
(h) Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
