職責
合約首席技術主任（創新科技）主要擔任的工作包括：
(a) 計劃和管理與創新科技項目有關的財務資源；
(b) 制訂和監督在培訓和行動方面製作和發展培訓科技計劃的實施情況，包括以處境為本的培訓教材、360度／三維影音製作、模擬和互動多媒體等；
(c) 監督以處境為本的培訓教材、360度／三維的影音製作、模擬和互動多媒體，以及其他先進培訓科技系統的設立、運作和使用的推廣；
(d) 評估以處境為本的培訓教材、360度／三維影音製作、模擬和互動多媒體的培訓需要，建議培訓計劃和監督計劃的實施情況等；
(e) 計劃和監督外判培訓科技相關系統的實施和管理工作；
(f) 監督培訓科技科所有視聽設備和其他培訓科技設備的管理和保養工作；
(g) 監督對香港警察學院或其他培訓場地的培訓科技設備給予的技術支援，以及培訓香港警察學院和其他警隊人員使用培訓器材和操作培訓科技設備；以及
(h) 監督屬下的合約高級技術主任和合約技術主任，並處理相關的人力 資源管理事宜。
(a) 計劃和管理與創新科技項目有關的財務資源；

(g) 監督對香港警察學院或其他培訓場地的培訓科技設備給予的技術支援，以及培訓香港警察學院和其他警隊人員使用培訓器材和操作培訓科技設備；以及
(h) 監督屬下的合約高級技術主任和合約技術主任，並處理相關的人力 資源管理事宜。
The Contract Principal Technical Officer (Innovative Technology) is mainly deployed to:
(a) plan and administer the financial resources in relation to innovative technologies projects;
(b) formulate and oversee the implementation of plans on production and development of learning technologies in training and operations, including scenario-based training materials, 360-degree/3D audio-visual productions, simulations and interactive multimedia, etc;
(c) oversee the setting up, operation and promotion of the use of scenario-based training materials, 360-degree/3D audio-visual productions, simulations and interactive multimedia and other advanced learning technology systems;
(d) assess training need on scenario-based training materials, 360-degree/3D audio-visual productions, simulations and interactive multimedia, recommend training plans, and oversee their implementation, etc;
(e) plan and oversee the implementation and management of the outsourcing of learning technologies related systems;
(f) oversee the control and maintenance of all audio and visual equipment and other learning technologies of the Division;
(g) oversee the provision of technical support on learning technology equipment at Hong Kong Police College (HKPC) or other training venues, and training of the HKPC and other Force members in using the training aids and operating learning technology equipment; and
(h) supervise the Contract Senior Technical Officer and Contract Technical Officer(s) under his/her command and handle the relevant human resource management matters.

Candidates should :
(a) have a Diploma or Higher Certificate in relevant disciplines of Information Technology or Computer Science or Multimedia or Visual Art or Video Production from a Hong Kong polytechnic / polytechnic university or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / technical college / technical institute, or equivalent;
(b) have 8 years’ full-time experience in multimedia project management / system analysis and design / application programming / system programming / audio and video production / specialized technical support, which should include at least 2 years’ working experience in handling 360-degree video related projects;
(c) have 8 years’ full-time experience in operating Steadicam video mounting system;
(d) have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) [Please see Note 2], or equivalent;
(e) be able to communicate in Chinese and English; and
(f) have passed a trade test.
OR
(a) (i) have Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects including Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent; or
(ii) have Level 2 / Grade E or above in five subjects including Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
(b) have 15 years’ full-time experience in multimedia project management / system analysis and design / application programming / system programming / audio and video production / specialized technical support, which should include at least 2 years’ working experience in handling 360-degree video related projects;
(c) have 15 years’ full-time experience in operating Steadicam video mounting system;
(d) have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) [Please see Note 2], or equivalent;
(e) be able to communicate in Chinese and English; and
(f) have passed a trade test.
