職責
合約建築師的主要職責是 ─
(a) 規劃、設計和監督政府建築物的建造工程及設施；
(b) 執行工程策劃管理職務，包括配合工程項目的需要、管理外判工程項目的合約和顧問合約；
(c) 就建築及屋宇發展相關事宜提供意見；
(d) 進行建築相關職務，例如政府建築物保養工程；及
(e) 監督及訓練輔助技術人員。 [請參閱註(E)]

A Contract Architect is mainly deployed on –
(a) planning, designing and supervising the construction of government buildings and facilities;
(b) performing project management duties including co-ordination of project requirements, the administration of contracts and consultancy agreements in outsourced projects;
(c) providing advice on architectural and building development related issues;
(d) undertaking architectural related duties, e.g. maintenance of government buildings; and
(e) supervising and training staff. [See Note (E)]

入職條件
申請人必須 ─
(a) 為香港建築師學會的會員，或具備同等資格；及為香港建築師註冊管理局的註冊建築師 [請參閱註(B)]；
(b) 在取得專業資格後具備至少三年相關的工作經驗 [請參閱註(A)]；以及
(c) 符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績，或具同等成績 [請參閱註(C)及(D)]。

Candidates should –
(a) be Members of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA), or equivalent; and Registered Architects of the Architects Registration Board (ARB) of Hong Kong [See Note (B)];
(b) have at least three years' relevant post-qualification experience [See Note (A)]; and
(c) have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Notes (C) & (D)].

(A) 申請人如在取得相關專業資格後只具備少於三年的相關工作經驗也可申請此崗位，唯薪酬會因應其所具備的相關工作經驗而作出調整。
(B) 申請人如預期會在二零二二年十月三十一日或之前符合入職條件(a)項，亦可申請本崗位。然而，申請人必須成功獲香港建築師註冊管理局註冊成為註冊建築師，才會獲考慮聘用。
(C) 申請人須在本崗位申請截止日期或之前獲取入職條件(c)項。
(D) 2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙)E級成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級成績。
(E) 成功申請人或會受聘於政府其他決策局╱部門工作。
