職責
申請人經取錄後會獲調派往路政署主要工程管理處,負責帶領和督導轄下組別,以 –
(a) 擬備和監督工作計劃,以解決現有工程合約下的合約糾紛;
(b) 管理顧問公司,包括駐工地員工;
(c) 審核記錄及評核報告;
(d) 與法律顧問及外部專家舉行焦點會議,以及仔細審查專家的建議,確保當中的論點及分析的理據充分和合理;
(e) 定期向高級管理人員報告個案進展,並提出可能出現的事態發展供高級管理人員考慮;
(f) 擬備和解協議或準備採取後續行動,例如因糾紛未能以談判/調解方式解決而需進行仲裁;以及
(g) 執行高級管理人員委派的其他工作。

Successful candidate(s) will be assigned to the Major Works Project Management Office (MWPMO) of the Highways Department to lead and supervise a team to -
(a) prepare and monitor the work plan(s) for resolving contractual disputes under existing works contract(s);
(b) manage the consultants including resident site staff;
(c) review records and assessment reports,
(d) hold focused meetings with legal advisors and the external experts, and scrutinize the experts’ recommendations to make sure that the arguments and analysis contained therein are tenable and reasonable;
(e) report the development regularly to the senior management and propose viable way forwards for senior management’s consideration;
(f) prepare settlement agreement(s) or prepare for taking onward actions such as arbitration in case the disputes are not resolved through negotiation / mediation; and
(g) undertake any other duties as assigned by the management.

入職條件

(a) 具備香港工程師學會(土木界別)於1975年12月5日後選取的正式會員或同等資格【請參閱註(1)】;
(b) 在取得有關資格後,具備最少20年相關經驗,當中最少5年擔任道路基建工程的高級工程項目管理職位,以及最少3年有關解決大型政府基建工程合約糾紛 (尤其是調解及仲裁)的經驗【請參閱註(2)】;
(c) 具備管理和推展大型政府基建工程(最好是涉及多份工程合約及多名最終使用者的建築工程)的經驗為佳;以及
(d) 具備良好中英文口語及書寫能力。

Candidates should –
(a) be a Corporate Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (Civil Discipline) elected after 5 December 1975, or equivalent [see Note (1)];
(b) have at least 20 years’ relevant post-qualification experience including at least 5 years’ experience working in senior project management position(s) for highway infrastructures projects and minimum 3 years’ experience working in mega government infrastructure projects’ contract dispute resolution, in particular mediation and arbitration [see Note (2)];
(c) possess experience in management and implementation of mega government infrastructure projects, preferably involving building works with interfaces between multiple works contracts and with multiple end-users; and
(d) have a good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.

(1) 為符合入職條件(a)項所載的要求,申請人如只持有非本地專業資格,應提交所需證明文件,證明該等資格等同本地有關專業資格,例如提供證據,證明申請人的資格在截止申請日期之前,已獲香港工程師學會接納為其正式會員(土木界別)。
(2) 申請人須隨申請表格夾附香港工程師學會正式會員(土木界別)或同等資格副本,以及以下文件:
A) 取得該資格後的相關工作經驗的證明文件副本;以及
B) 詳列工作經驗的履歷。
*備註:未能遞交所需文件副本的申請將不獲考慮。
(2) 申請人須隨申請表格夾附香港工程師學會正式會員(土木界別)或同等資格副本,以及以下文件:
A) 取得該資格後的相關工作經驗的證明文件副本;以及
