職責
(一) 為教資會/研究資助局(研資局)實施和推行資助/獎學金計劃、傑出創科學人計劃及各項措施,及/或研究評審工作,提供行政支援,包括與相關政策局、顧問、大學及/或其他合作機構聯繫、制定指引及程序、為評審小組提供行政及秘書處支援、安排宣傳活動,以及跟進事宜;
(二) 協助教資會秘書處進行教資會資助界別的規劃工作,並提供行政及秘書處支援,以協助教資會/研資局及其屬下的委員會/評審小組/工作小組舉行會議、檢討工作和相關的活動/項目;
(三) 進行研究,以及協助草擬會議文件及報告,並跟進有關會議的建議;
(四) 支援諮詢、宣傳及相關活動的工作;
(五) 督導部屬人員的工作,及監理一般辦公室行政、預算和人力資源事宜;以及
(六) 履行其他受指派的工作。

(a) to provide executive support to the administration and implementation of UGC / Research Grants Council (RGC) funding / fellowship schemes, the Global STEM Professorship Scheme and initiatives, and/or research assessment exercise, including liaison with concerned policy bureaux, universities, consultant and/or other collaborating organisations, formulation of guidelines and procedures, provision of executive and secretariat support to assessment panel, publicity arrangement and follow-up work;
(b) to assist the UGC Secretariat in conducting the Planning Exercise for the UGC-funded sector, and to provide executive and secretariat support for the UGC / RGC, and its sub-committees / panels / working group in arranging meetings, reviews and other UGC / RGC-related activities / initiatives;
(c) to conduct research and draft papers / reports for the meetings, and to assist in following up the recommendations of the meetings;
(d) to assist in consultation, publicity and related activities;
(e) to supervise the work of supporting staff, and to oversee general administration, budgeting and human resources matters of the team; and
(f) to perform other duties as assigned.

入職條件
(一) 持有本港頒授的學士學位,或同等學歷;
(二) 在取得學士學位後,有至少十年全職擔任行政及/或管理職位的工作經驗。如申請人具有研究行政工作、項目管理、處理公共撥款計劃及/或於高等教育界別的工作經驗,可獲優先考慮;
(三) 具備優良中、英語的會話及書寫能力(包括普通話)。申請人須在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第3級或以上成績,或具同等學歷[註﹕政府在聘任時,2007年前香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙)C級成績,在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第3級成績];
(四) 主動進取並有強烈的責任感,能獨立地將工作妥善完成,以及能作出明智判斷;
(五) 具備高度的組織、督導、策劃、分析及解難能力,並能於壓力下工作;
(六) 具備高效的人際溝通技巧及表達能力,並有支援委員會工作的經驗;以及
(七) 具備良好的電腦知識和技巧,能熟練使用微軟辦公室軟件。

(b) have a minimum of 10 years’ post-degree full time working experience in executive and/ or administrative support positions. Preference will be given to candidates with working experience in research administration, project management, public funding administration, and/ or higher education sector;
(c) with excellent command of spoken and written Chinese (including Putonghua) and English. The candidates should have “Level 3” or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [Note: For appointment purpose, “Grade C” in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 is accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 3” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth];
(d) be self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and able to work proficiently with significant independence and sound judgment;
(e) have high level of organisational, supervisory, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure;
(f) have effective communication skills and proven experience in committee support; and
(g) have good computer proficiency and be conversant with Microsoft Office.
