(1) Assist in developing a process re-engineering programme in Hongkong Post; (2) Conduct times studies and collect data on the mail processing activities; (3) Analyze the data collected and identify the gap for development of standard working methods and postal equipment; (4) Assist to build-in the quality management element in the work process; (5) Process data for building up the time motion databank; and (6) Assist in devising work manual to implement the standard work methods and deployment of postal equipment, and conduct training to the working staff.

(1) A recognized local university degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent; (2) A minimum of 2 year's post-qualification experience with at least one year in the field of industrial/manufacturing engineering; (3) A “Level 2” (Grade “E” before 2007) or above in Chinese Language and English language (Syllabus B before 2007) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent; (4) Proven track record on work method study with significant achievements in productivity improvement; (5) Conversant in IT applications; (6) Mature, independent, aggressive, persistence and be able to work under pressure; (7) A competent and committed team player; (8) Persuasive and excellent inter-personal skills in communicating with all levels; (9) Able to work irregular hours; (10) Good command of Cantonese and English; and (11) Proficiency in written English and Chinese.
