Main responsibilities include a) carrying out graphic and interface design for youth.gov.hk and other work of the Efficiency Unit, including icons, banners, landing pages, newsletters, thematic campaigns and promotional mini-cards; b) negotiating and working with external service providers on various design projects; and c) updating web contents.

Candidates should have - a)

• (i)a Hong Kong degree or equivalent, or
• (ii)an accredited Higher Diploma / Associate Degree in web, multimedia and graphic design or related disciplines from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent;

b) Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) / Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, or equivalent [See Note (1)], or equivalent; c) at least 2 years’ working experience in multimedia and web design using the Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash; d) proficiency on coding with HTML, HTML 5, CSS 2 and CSS 3; programme skills on JavaScript, ActionScript, jQuery and Ajax; e) strong communication skills and creative sense; and f) experience in mobile web/app design, Final Cut Pro and After Effects and web content management system would be an advantage.
