Responsible to collect the electronic data from batches of ear-tagged imported livestock by handheld readers and by the passageway reader system at Sheung Shui Slaughterhouse, and verify and cross-check the collected data (require to contact live food animals in the process); to download and upload data from the internet; to perform English and Chinese word-processing and carry out office duties. [Note: Successful candidates have to work on shift basis, irregular hours and subject to operational needs, work on Sundays and Public Holidays; undertake outdoor duties and contact with live food animals.]

Candidates should have (a)(i) Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects including Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) (Note 1), or equivalent; or (ii) Level 2 / Grade E or above in five subjects including Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) (Note 2), or equivalent; (b) computer application knowledge in MS Word for Chinese and English word processing, and MS Excel for preparation of statistics returns; and (c) experience in livestock handling would be an advantage.
