- (a)協助總工程師（工程）監督工程組；
- (b)協助技術人員職系首長管理部門技術人員職系，並與這些職系進行技術聯繫；
- (c)監督民政事務總署小型工程計劃的推行工作，以及監督有關工程代理人的工作；
- (d)監督建築師主導合約顧問和工料測量合約顧問，在推行地區小型工程計劃項目的行政、管理和表現監察工作；
- (e)監督民政事務總署認可承建商的招聘、管理和表現監察工作，以推行民政事務總署小型工程計劃；
- (f)監督各個工程項目的財務控制，包括預測及預算開支；
- (g)在有需要時出席有關整體撥款和工程項目的區議會會議及其他會議；及
- (h)在有需要時執行其他相關職務。
職責
- (a)Assisting Chief Engineer (Works) in overseeing the Works Section;
- (b)Assisting the Head of Technical Grade in management and technical liaison with the departmental Technical Grades;
- (c)Overseeing the implementation of the Home Affairs Department (HAD) minor works programmes, and overseeing the works of concerned works agents;
- (d)Overseeing the administration, management and performance monitoring of the Architect-led term consultants and the Quantity Surveying term consultants for implementation of District Minor Works projects;
- (e)Overseeing the recruitment, management and performance monitoring of the HAD approved contractors for implementation of HAD minor works programmes;
- (f)Exercising financial control over projects, including expenditure forecasts and estimates;
- (g)Attending meetings with District Councils and other meetings in connection with Block Allocations and works projects, as and when necessary; and
- (h)Performing other related duties as required.
入職條件
申請人必須 –
- (a)為香港工程師學會會員，或具同等資格；及
- (b)於取得上述專業資格後具備最少十五年相關工作經驗；及
- (c)符合語文能力要求
- (i)在香港中學文憑考試中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績，或具同等成績；或
- (ii)在香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績，或具同等成績
註：就聘任非公務員合約僱員而言，2007年前香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科(課程乙)「E級」的成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或以後香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科「第2級」的成績] ；
(d)在人事管理和推行工務計劃方面，具豐富知識和工作經驗；及
(e)熟識政府推展工務計劃的運作和程序。
Candidates should –
- (a)be Members of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), or equivalent; and
- (b)have at least fifteen years’ relevant post-qualification experience; and
- (c)have met the language proficiency requirements of
- (i)Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, or equivalent; or
- (ii)Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (for the purpose of appointment of non-civil service contract staff, ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 is accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 2’ in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth); and
- (d)have extensive knowledge and working experience in staff management and implementation of public works projects; and
- (e)have good knowledge of government operations and procedures in the delivery of public works projects.
