(a) To conduct audiological assessments / reviews and parent interview for assessing / reviewing the educational needs of HI children; (b) To organize and conduct strategic training programmes on supporting HI students in the continuous use of personal amplification systems in enhancing communication and learning; (c) To provide professional consultation, teacher training and support to schools admitting HI students regarding the optimal use of FM and amplification systems; (d) To be responsible for the planning, organizing and monitoring the audiological support and consultation to schools; and assist in the development of school-based support services; (e) To assist in the general administration of the Section; and (f) To perform any other duties as required.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Science ; (b) A Hong Kong master's degree in Audiology, or equivalent; (c) a certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent; (d) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 [Note 1] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and (e) 6 years' or above relevant experience after obtaining (b) of which at least 3 years as an Audiologist in educational settings [Note 2].
