- (a)根據課程發展議會訂定的方針，指導及監督有關通識教育科、跨課程文化元素，以及其他跨課程範疇的課程發展、策劃及檢討工作；
- (b)指導和監督上述課程的推行；
- (c)指導和監督學與教資源的發展和製作；
- (d)督導教師專業培訓課程的策劃和籌辦，配合上述課程的實施，以及協助教師發展學習型社群，培養他們的專業能力；
- (e)倡議及策劃與通識教育科課程未來路向有關的研究發展計劃，包括試行新課程模式，教學及評估策略的改進等；
- (f)就有關通識教育科課程、跨課程文化元素，以及其他跨課程範疇的課程事宜，給予顧問及專業意見；
- (g)向公眾闡明正確的信息，並取得不同持分者的支持；
- (h)指導、監督及管理通識教育組的行政工作及財政事宜；
- (i)參與相關部門/跨部門/非政府委員會的工作；以及
- (j)就所有與通識教育科課程、跨課程文化元素及其他跨課程範疇有關的事宜，提供專業支援。

職責
- (a)to direct and supervise the planning, development and review of the curriculum relating to Liberal Studies, cultural elements across the curriculum, and other cross-curricular areas according to the direction laid down by the Curriculum Development Council;
- (b)to direct and supervise the dissemination of the above curricula;
- (c)to direct and supervise the development and production of learning and teaching resources;
- (d)to supervise the planning and organization of teacher professional development programmes in support of the implementation of the above curricula, and the development of teacher learning community for building up the professional capacities;
- (e)to initiate and plan research and development projects in relation to the future direction of the Liberal Studies curriculum, piloting of new curriculum models, and enhancement of teaching, learning and assessment strategies;
- (f)to act as consultant to and provide professional advice on curricular matters relating to the Liberal Studies curriculum, cultural elements across the curriculum, and other cross-curricular areas;
- (g)to explain proper messages to the public and earn support from the different stakeholders;
- (h)to direct, supervise and manage the administrative work and financial matters of the Liberal Studies Section;
- (i)to serve on related departmental/interdepartmental/non-government committees; and
- (j)to provide professional support on all matters relating to the Liberal Studies curriculum, cultural elements across the curriculum, and other cross-curricular areas.
入職條件
- (a)持有本港頒授的學士學位，或具備同等學歷，以及持有本港專上教育院校所頒授的教育證書，或具備同等成績[參閱註(ii)]；
- (b)在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷[中文運用及英文運用]中取得「二級」成績，或具備同等學歷[參閱註(iii)]；
- (c)在取得有關學歷後，在以下方面具有不少於12年的經驗，包括：教學、研究及發展、行政、執行及/或推廣及推介各學習領域及跨課程的課程發展措施及成功經驗[參閱註(iv)]；以及
- (d)申請人如具備通識教育科方面的豐富知識和教育經驗，並有推行教育研究、指導多媒體學與教資源的發展工作、管理學校科目小組等經驗，可獲優先考慮。
- (a)a Hong Kong bachelor's degree or equivalent; and a certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent [See Note (ii)];
- (b)'Level 2' results in the two language papers [Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)] in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [See Note (iii)];
- (c)at least 12 years' relevant post-qualification experience in teaching, research and development, administration, performance and/or promotion and dissemination of curriculum development measures and good practices in different key learning areas and cross-curricular areas [See Note (iv)]; and
- (d)preference will be given to candidates with sound knowledge and educational experience in Liberal Studies and experience in conducting educational research, directing the development of multi-media learning and teaching resources, and the management of school subject panels.

- (i)首席課程主任(通識教育/跨課程學習)職位的申請日期為2015年2月6日(星期五)至2015年2月27日(星期五)。
- (ii)申請人須在申請表上清楚註明所修讀學位課程的主修和副修科目。申請人如有其他學歷(例如有關科目的碩士或博士學位)，亦須一併在申請表上列明。
- (iii)綜合招聘考試中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」，並以「二級」為最高等級。香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級或以上的成績會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」成績。香港高級程度會考英語運用科或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level)(GCE A Level) English Language科「C」級或以上的成績則會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。在 International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上，並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的人士，在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內，會視為已符合首席程主任(通識教育/跨課程學習)職位的英語能力要求。IELTS考試成績必須在職位開始接受申請的首天(即2015年2月6日)仍然有效。[參閱上列註(i)]
- (iv)申請人須述明於取得有關學歷後所具備的相關工作經驗及性質。
- (v)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，所有教育局課程主任職位的招聘，均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。申請人在基本法測試(學位／專業程度職系)的表現，會佔其整體表現的一個適當比重，但不會影響其申請教育局課程主任職位的資格。原則上，申請人的學歷、經驗和才能仍然是考慮其是否適合被聘用的主要因素。
- (vi)申請人須處事盡責、積極主動、對工作有熱誠，並須品格良好，願意為教育界服務，作出承擔，以及能以中英文與人有效溝通。
