受聘人須：（a）提供烏爾都語及旁遮普語（巴基斯坦）及英文的翻譯服務；（b）在會見、會議、發通知、填表格等情況提供即時傳譯服務；（c）提供其他語文服務，例如撰稿、編輯；（d）執行上級指派的其他傳譯／翻譯工作；及（e）在有需要時於香港以外地方執行本段（a）至（d）項所述的傳譯及翻譯工作。

職責
Selected appointees will be responsible for:
- (a)handling translation from Urdu & Punjabi (Pakistani) into English, and vice versa, for different types of documents;
- (b)providing simultaneous interpretation services at interviews, meetings, upon serving of notices and completion of forms, etc.;
- (c)providing other literacy services, e.g. copywriting, editing;
- (d)performing any other interpretation/translation duties assigned by senior officers; and
- (e)when necessary, performing interpretation and translation work as mentioned in
- (a)to
- (d)of this paragraph at locations outside Hong Kong.
入職條件
（a）持有在香港考取的學士學位，或具備同等學歷（主修翻譯-巴基斯坦語及英文者可獲優先考慮）；（b）曾接受烏爾都語及旁遮普語（巴基斯坦）及英文的翻譯及傳譯專業訓練或具烏爾都語及旁遮普語（巴基斯坦）及英文的翻譯及傳譯工作經驗；（c）在烏爾都語及旁遮普語（巴基斯坦）及英文方面具良好書寫能力；（d）能說流利烏爾都語及旁遮普語（巴基斯坦）及英文；（e）能準確清晰、符合語法及以適當的文體傳達以烏爾都語及旁遮普語（巴基斯坦）及英文書寫的文字的意思；以及（f）已登記為香港特區政府司法機構的巴基斯坦兼職傳譯員者可獲優先考慮。
- (a)a Hong Kong's bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably major in Translation – Pakistani and English);
- (b)professional training or experience in translation and interpretation in Urdu & Punjabi (Pakistani) and English;
- (c)excellent writing skills in Urdu & Punjabi (Pakistani) and English;
- (d)fluent speaking skills in Urdu & Punjabi (Pakistani) and English;
- (e)skills in conveying the meaning of a text in Urdu & Punjabi (Pakistani) and English in a clear, grammatically correct and stylistically appropriate manner; and
- (f)preferably registered with the Judiciary of the HKSAR Government as Registered Part-time Interpreter for Pakistani.
