在運輸署內調派擔任下列職責：(1)進行交通及運輸調查、資料分析及草擬調查報告；(2)協助進行運輸規劃研究及其他例行交通與運輸研究報告，包括使用電腦套裝軟件；(3)協助擬備道路及交界處交通工程圖則和擬訂交通管理計劃； (4)協助設計及操作區域交通控制系統及交通監察系統，以及執行控制室的職務；(5)設計交通燈號計劃，包括使用電腦套裝軟件；(6)協助調查交通意外，擬訂改善建議及分析交通意外資料；(7)協助提供電腦設備的技術支援，以及參與電腦系統的發展及維修工作；(8)協助訓練及督導初級人員；(9)協助設計路燈計劃，並參與定期巡查路燈；以及(10)協助整理、分析和評估公共運輸服務營運商提交的營運和規劃數據;及為規劃公共運輸服務繪製圖則。 (註﹕可能需不定時工作、擔任戶外職務、輪班工作及隨時候召工作。)
職責
To be deployed in Transport Department undertaking the following duties:
- (1)undertaking traffic and transport surveys, data analysis and drafting of survey reports;
- (2)assisting in transport planning studies and other routine traffic and transport studies including the use of computer packages;
- (3)assisting in the preparation of traffic engineering layouts for road and junction proposals and traffic management schemes;
- (4)assisting in the design and operation of the area traffic control systems and traffic surveillance system and performing monitor room duties;
- (5)generating traffic signal plans including the use of computer packages;
- (6)assisting in accident investigations, preparing remedial proposals, and analyzing traffic accident data;
- (7)assisting in the technical support of computer facilities and participating in the development and maintenance of computer systems;
- (8)assisting in the training and supervision of junior staff;
- (9)assisting in the design of road lighting schemes and participating in periodic inspections of road lighting; and
- (10)assisting in managing, analyzing and assessing operational and planning data submitted by public transport operators; and preparing drawings for public transport planning purposes.
Note:
May be required to work irregular hours, outdoor duties, shift duties and on-call duties.
入職條件
- (a)持有香港其中一間理工學院/理工大學或香港專業教育學院/科技學院/工業學院所頒發的土木工程文憑或高級證書，或同等學歷；以及(b)香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績，並於數學科及另外一科考獲第2級 / E級或以上成績，或具同等學歷。
- (a)A Diploma or a Higher Certificate in Civil Engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic / polytechnic university or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / technical college / institute, or equivalent; and
- (b)Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language together with Level 2 / Grade E or above in Mathematics and one other subject in the Hong Kong Diploma Secondary Education Examination (“HKDSEE”) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (“HKCEE”), or equivalent.

- (a)香港中學文憑考試應用學習科目(最多計算兩科)「達標」成績，以及其他語言科目E級成績，會被視為相等於新高中科目第2級成績; (b)2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙) E級成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級成績;
