(a) To participate in developing Applied Learning (ApL) courses and monitoring the implementation of the courses; (b) To work with course providers in collecting and analysing information of articulation pathways of secondary students taking / graduates who have taken ApL; (c) To provide professional services for the development and implementation of ApL, and to participate in ApL-related committees/task groups and meetings with course providers; (d) To plan and coordinate activities to promote ApL for relevant stakeholders through various platforms; (e) To coordinate the production and distribution of ApL resources and publicity materials; (f) To perform administrative duties related to day-to-day operation of the Applied Learning Section; and (g) To undertake any other duties as assigned.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, majoring in Science, subjects related to Humanities, Food Science and Technology or Hotel and Tourism Management, or equivalent; and a certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent [see Note (ii)]; (b) Met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 2' results in the two language papers [Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)] in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [see Note (iii)]; (c) At least 6 years' relevant post-qualification [as specified in (a)] experience in teaching and/or curriculum development, with experience at supervisory level [see Note (iv)]; and (d) preference will be given to candidates with experience in coordinating projects or developing ApL or similar courses at senior secondary level and awareness of current trends in vocational and professional education.
