主要職責包括–(a)監督負責測量車輛廢氣的承辦商；(b)進行車輛廢氣測量；(c)對測量儀器進行定期品質檢查；(d)就儀器操作的故障檢修聯絡海外／本地生產商；(e)統籌生產商／承辦商進行儀器校準；以及(f)有需要時執行由督導人員指派的其他技術性／行政職務。 <br> <br>(註: 工作時間及地點須視乎部門的運作需要而定。獲錄用者或需(a)不定時及超時工作，包括晚上及周末和周日；(b)不時在戶外工作;及(c)提舉重物。)
職責
The main duties include –
- (a)overseeing contractors for measuring vehicle emissions;
- (b)conducting vehicle emission measurements;
- (c)performing periodic quality check of equipment;
- (d)liaising with overseas / local equipment manufacturers to trouble-shoot any operational issues;
- (e)arranging calibration with equipment manufacturers / contractors; and
- (f)performing other technical / administrative duties as assigned by the supervisors when required. <br> <br>(Note: The hours and venues of work may be varied having regard to the operational needs of the department. The successful candidate may be required to
- (a)work irregular hours and overtime, including evenings and weekends;
- (b)work occasionally outdoors; and
- (c)lift heavy objects.)
入職條件
申請人須–
- (a)在機械／電機／汽車／環境／化學工程或環境科學學科中，考獲本港大學頒發的一級或二級榮譽學士學位，或同等學歷；(b)取得資格後具有最少3年在車輛廢氣量度／空氣污染監測／汽車維修方面的適當職責工作經驗；(c)具有最少1年保養儀器的實際經驗；以及(d)具備良好中、英文會話及書寫技巧。
Candidate should have –
- (a)a Hong Kong first or second class honours degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive / Environmental / Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science subject, or equivalent;
- (b)minimum three-year relevant post-qualifications experience at an appropriate level of responsibility on motor vehicle emission measurements / air pollution monitoring / automobile repair;
- (c)at least one-year hands-on experience on equipment maintenance; and
- (d)good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.

- (a)持有本地院校／香港考試及評核局所頒授學歷的申請人，在現階段毋須遞交修業成績表／文憑／證書／其他証明文件副本。至於持有非本地學歷的人士，則須連同填妥的申請書提交修業成績表／文憑／證書／其他証明文件副本。(b)獲邀參加面試者面試當天或須接受
- (i)關於汽車及測量儀器知識的筆試；及(ii)技能測試(例如提舉重物)。
