• (a)to assist in the planning and implementation of the overall anti-drug Preventive Education and Publicity (PE&P) strategy and initiatives taking into account the emerging drug trends, interests of service target groups and feedbacks of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Drug InfoCentre’s (DIC) users; <br> <br>
• (b)to promote engagement and participation in anti-drug work through organisation of events and activities at the DIC, liaising with schools and non-government organisations (NGOs) and professional groups, collaboration with various outside parties, provision of outreach programmes, liaison with the Anti-drug Volunteer Group, etc.; <br> <br>
• (c)to assist in taking forward the DIC revamping exercise, including providing contributions to design and content of exhibits; assisting in supervising the work of contractors in the revamping works; providing secretariat and logistical support for engaging stakeholders; designing and implementing suitable interim arrangements during the closure of DIC for revamping; <br> <br>
• (d)to oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the DIC facilities and updating of the DIC website; and <br> <br>
• (e)to supervise the staff of DIC and carry out other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have- <br>

• (a)a bachelor’s degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent, in business administration, marketing, public relations, communication or journalism. After graduating from the first degree above preferably with at least nine years of post-qualification work experience; <br> <br>
• (b)with at least five years’ supervisory experience in marketing, event management, corporate communications, public relations or media management in sizeable corporations, non-governmental organisations, public relations agencies or government departments. Good knowledge of the latest trends of the youth’s interests and experience in formulating and implementing activities and events for the youth will be an advantage; <br> <br>
• (c)strong written communication skills in both Chinese and English, with level 3 or above in both Chinese and English language in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent, and good command of Cantonese, Putonghua and spoken English; <br> <br>
• (d)strong leadership skills and project management skills; <br> <br>
• (e)mature, excellent inter-personal communications skills and able to work under pressure; and <br> <br>
• (f)conversant with computer applications such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Chinese word processing. <br> <br>Note: Suitable candidates may be required to attend a written test.
