(a) To support the implementation of research projects on the development of knowledge structures and resource materials, including learning resources and assessment tasks and questions, for the English Language subject for Student Adaptive Learning (SAL);
(b) To provide school-based support to primary and secondary schools participating in the projects on promoting SAL in the English Language subject to enhance learning, teaching and assessment;
(c) To carry out the validation process of assessment tasks and questions for primary and junior secondary students for the English Language subject for the SAL system, and provide logistic support to related committees;
(d) To collect views from different stakeholders on the construction of the SAL system;
(e) To render logistic support in organising professional development programmes for teachers and public education activities on SAL for different stakeholders to improve learning and teaching and enhance assessment literacy; and
(f) To perform other duties as assigned.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree majoring in English Language or a Bachelor of Education degree majoring in English Language, or equivalent;
(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent;
(c) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 or above in English Language and Level 2 or above in Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) [See Note], or equivalent;
(d) At least 4 years' relevant post-qualification experience in teaching and/or curriculum development in the subject of English Language at primary or secondary level; and
(e) Preference will be given to candidates with (i) good communication and interpersonal skills; (ii) good computer skills; and (iii) knowledge and experience in development of resource materials for learning and assessment at primary and/or secondary levels with the use of multimedia.
