Attending and assisting in courts, magistracies or chambers hearing as appropriate; maintaining accurate records; checking and marking exhibits and arranging custody; settling and approving draft orders; performing the duties of a Judicial Clerk in different Court’s offices or registries; processing applications; answering enquiries; and assisting in project development as required.

Candidates should have – <br> <br>

• (a)
  • (i)Level 3 or equivalent (Note 1) or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (“HKDSEE”) (Note 2), or equivalent; or <br> <br>
  • (ii)Grade E or above in two subjects at Advanced Level in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination and Level 3 (Note 3) / Grade C or above in three other subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (“HKCEE”) (Note 2), or equivalent; and <br> <br>
• (b)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 (Note 3) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent. <br> <br>(Remark 1: All qualifications and work experience required should be obtained on or before the closing date for application.) <br> <br>(Remark 2: Candidates who are invited for the selection interview will normally receive the invitation by email or by post within ten weeks from the closing date for application. This period may be longer in exceptional circumstances, e.g. when a large number of applications are received or when there are other complications. The Judiciary may defer the selection interview in light of the latest public health situation. If the selection interview is deferred, candidates will be informed by email or by post. Candidates should provide an accurate email and correspondence addresses in their applications. Candidates are responsible for checking their emails / mails to ensure that invitation will be duly received. Those who are not invited for the selection interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.)
