(a) To coordinate and oversee the implementation and administration of the School Nominations Direct Admission Scheme in liaison with relevant stakeholders, including the Joint University Programmes Admission System Office, local universities, secondary school principals, etc.;
(b) To plan, coordinate and oversee the implementation and administration of student admission and subsidy schemes, which provide Hong Kong students with an alternative study pathway and opportunities to take part in internship and exchange activities on the Mainland;
(c) To coordinate and liaise with relevant Mainland authorities, post-secondary institutions, contractors, etc. for ensuring the smooth implementation of the student admission and subsidy schemes;
(d) To review the effectiveness of the student admission and subsidy schemes, including the preparation of information and discussion papers;
(e) To organise the annual Mainland Higher Education Expo; and
(f) To undertake any other duties as and when required.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent [See Notes (ii) & (iv)];
(b) At least 12 years' post-degree full-time working experience, with at least 5 years' administration experience in local public sector or higher education field [See Note (iii)];
(c) Strong planning and organisational abilities;
(d) Good knowledge of the local community and the higher education sector;
(e) Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
(f) Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and fluent Putonghua;
(g) Good knowledge of application of computer software such as word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation and data analysis tools; and
(h) Candidates may be required to attend a written test/selection interview.
