Post (1): Temporary Senior Government Counsel / Part-time Temporary Senior Government Counsel
如擔任全職職位，月薪港幣117,580元；如擔任兼職職位，時薪港幣 693元
職責
草擬政府倡導的雙語法例；向政府政策局及部門提供相關的法律意見；出席內部及外部會議以及回答與法例有關的問題；協助準備在立法程序中所需的文件；以及執行不時獲派的其他工作，或在本司其他辦公室從事其他法律工作。擔任職位(1)的人士須承擔較繁重的職務以及能獨立工作，並需處理性質較複雜的法律草擬工作。
To draft Government legislation in Chinese and/or English, to provide incidental legal advisory services to the Government Secretariat and various departments, to attend internal and external meetings and answer questions on legislation, to assist in the preparation of various papers required in the legislative process, and to perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time or deployed to other offices of the Department to undertake any other legal work. The holder of post (1) is expected to assume a higher level of responsibilities and be able to work independently, and will be required to handle the drafting of more complex legislation.
入職條件
申請人須—
(a) (i) 在香港或《律政人員條例》(第87章)第2A條及附表2所規定的任何一個認可司法管轄區內取得律師資格後具備最少6年專業經驗；或 (ii)在香港或《律政人員條例》(第87章)第2A條及附表2所規定的任何一個認可司法管轄區內取得大律師資格和全面執業權後，具備最少7年專業經驗；以及
(b) 在香港中學文憑試或香港中學會考的英國語文科和中國語文科成績達第2等級或以上，或具同等學歷(註：政府在聘任非公務員合約員工時，過往香港中學會考英國語文科(課程乙)和中國語文科E級的成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後的香港中學會考英國語文科和中國語文科第2等級的成績) 。
註 : (i) 申請人如具備法律文件草擬經驗，會獲優先考慮；(ii) 申請人如未具足夠規定專業經驗亦可申請，但須於取得律師資格後具備最少4年專業經驗，或於取得大律師資格和全面執業權後具備最少5年專業經驗。如獲取錄，其薪金將下調至適當水平，全職職位月薪將低於港幣117,580元；兼職職位時薪將低於港幣693元。

Candidates should—
(a) (i) be solicitors with at least 6 years’ professional experience since admission in Hong Kong or any one of the recognised jurisdictions as stipulated under section 2A of and Schedule 2 to the Legal Officers Ordinance (Cap. 87); or (ii) be barristers with at least 7 years’ professional experience since attaining the right to full practice in Hong Kong or any one of the recognised jurisdictions as stipulated under section 2A of and Schedule 2 to the Legal Officers Ordinance (Cap. 87); and
(b) have attained Level 2 or above in English Language and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (Note: For non-civil service appointment purpose, Grade E in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language in HKCEE in or after 2007.).
Notes: (i) Candidates with experience in legal drafting will have an advantage; and (ii) Candidates with less working experience (a minimum of 4 years’ professional experience for solicitors or 5 years’ professional experience for barristers) may also apply. If selected, they will be offered a salary at an appropriate level lower than HK$117,580 per month for full time employment or HK$693 per hour for part-time employment.
