職責
高級技工（工場主管）的主要職責是︰
(a) 在香港警察學院(下稱「學院」)轄下基礎訓練學校監督和指導一組技工／工人進行一切建築物和固定裝置的小型維修工程；
(b) 安排和執行警隊／學院各項活動和儀式所需的維修和保養工程；以及
(c) 學院所需的任何小型油漆、木工和金工工程。
(註：或須不定時工作和穿著制服。)

A Senior Artisan (Officer-in-charge of Workshop) is mainly deployed on –
(a) supervising and directing a team of Artisans/Workmen to conduct minor repairs of all buildings and fixtures in the School of Foundation Training of the Hong Kong Police College (“School”);
(b) preparing and making necessary repairs and maintenance work for Force/School functions and ceremonies; and
(c) any minor work of painting, carpentry and metal work required in the School.
(Note: May be required to work irregular hours and wear uniform.)

入職條件
申請人必須：
(a) (i) 持有由科技學院／工業學院頒發的木工證書，或具備同等學歷；或
(ii) 順利完成木工的正式學徒訓練或其他認可實習訓練課程，或具同等資歷，並在完成學徒訓練／其他訓練後具備最少兩年有關行業的工作經驗；或
(iii) 具備最少六年從事木工和油漆工作或相關的工作經驗；
(b) 具備督導和統籌初級員工日常工作的經驗和才能；以及
(c) 能以粵語／中文和簡單英文溝通，閱讀簡單中文和簡單英文，以及書寫簡單中文或簡單英文。

Candidates should –
(a) (i) have a certificate in carpentry from a technical college/technical institute, or equivalent; or
(ii) have successfully completed a recognised apprenticeship or other approved course of practical training in carpentry, or equivalent, plus at least 2 years’ post-apprenticeship/ training experience in the trade; or
(iii) have at least 6 years’ working experience in carpentry and painting, or equivalent;
(b) have experience and ability to supervise and organise the day-to-day work of junior staff; and
(c) be able to communicate in Cantonese/Chinese and simple English; read simple Chinese and simple English; and write simple Chinese or simple English.

入職條件(註)
(1) 申請人須通過技能測試。
(2) 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。只會在兩位申請人的整體表現相若時，政府才會參考申請人在《基本法》測試中的表現。
