申請人如獲錄用,將執行以下工作:
(a) 獨立地以專業角度調查樹木個案和進行樹木檢查及樹木風險評估工作,並提供專業建議、合適改善措施以減低風險及撰寫專業樹木調查/評估報告;
(b) 帶領及監督樹木檢查隊伍和風險評估的工作;
(c) 制訂和監督承辦商的工作,及執行合約管理事宜;
(d) 審閱和覆檢外勤人員、承辦商及其他團體提交的樹木檢查報告以及對樹木適當護理和處理方法的建議;
(e) 檢視和撰寫植物護養招標文件;
(f) 提供樹藝學、樹木風險評估方面的培訓;
(g) 制訂與樹木檢查和樹木風險評估有關的指引、技術通告、作業備考、簡報等;
(h) 處理公眾及其他團體的查詢、投訴及轉介;
(i) 如有需要,須出席實地及部門之間的會議;及
(j) 執行上司指派的任何其他職務。
[註:或須不定時工作及在公眾假期工作,或執行戶外工作。]
Successful candidates will undertake the following duties –
(a) to investigate problematic tree cases, carry out tree inspection and tree risk assessment independently in a professional manner, recommend measures for risk abatement, appropriate follow-up corrective actions and prepare professional tree inspection/assessment reports;
(b) to lead and supervise the work of field staff on tree inspection and tree risk assessment;
(c) to plan and supervise the work of contractors and carry out contract management works;
(d) to vet and review tree inspection reports submitted by field staff, contractors and others; including advice on appropriate treatment/handling methods ;
(e) to review and prepare vegetation maintenance tender documents;
(f) to provide training on arboriculture and tree risk assessment;
(g) to prepare guidelines, technical circulars, practice notes, presentations, and etc. on tree inspection and tree risk assessment;
(h) to handle enquiries, complaints and referrals from the public and other parties;
(i) to attend meetings on site, inter-departmental meetings, etc. as required; and
(j) to undertake any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
[Note: May be required to work irregular hours and on public holidays or to perform outdoor duties.]
(a) 受聘人如能圓滿完成合約,並在合約期內一直保持良好的工作表現及操守,將可獲發約滿酬金。該筆約滿酬金,連同政府根據《強制性公積金計劃條例》的規定為受聘人的強制性公積金計劃所作供款,合共相等於受聘人在合約期內所支底薪總額的15%。
(b) 在適當情況下,受聘人可享有不少於《僱傭條例》規定的休息日、法定假期、年假、分娩假期/侍產假和疾病津貼。
申請人必須:
(a) 持有本地大學的樹藝學或相關範疇[例如植物學、生物學(其中包括高等植物學課程)、林業學、園藝學、園境學、園境管理、園境科學]一級或二級榮譽學士或以上學位,或具同等學歷;
(b) 通過樹藝專業學會或業內機構主辦或認可的考試或評核,並取得有效的相關資格或學歷證明,例如國際樹木學會註冊樹藝師(Certified Arborist of the International Society of Arboriculture)、英國樹木學會專業會員或院士(Professional Member or Fellow of the Arboricultural Association of the United Kingdom)、歐洲樹木栽培委員會樹木技術人員(European Tree Technician of the European Arboricultural Council),或同等資歷;
(c) 取得上述學歷後至二零二三年一月十六日,在樹藝工作方面(例如樹木風險評估和管理、修剪、種植和種植後護理、樹木問題的診斷和治理、使用拉索)具兩年全職經驗或持有樹藝學的本地碩士或博士學位或深造文憑(不少於兩年的研習課期);及
(d) 符合語文能力要求,即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科考獲「第3級」或以上成績,或具同等成績[註(1)]。
Candidates should –
(a) have a First or Second Class honours bachelor’s degree or higher in arboriculture or a related field such as botany, biology (with courses in higher plants), forestry, horticulture, landscape studies, landscape management, landscape science, from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;
(b) have a valid qualification/certification offered by a professional institution or industry organisation on arboriculture after successful completion of examination or assessment process conducted within or accredited by the institution/organisation, such as Certified Arborist of the International Society of Arboriculture, Professional Member or Fellow of the Arboricultural Association of the United Kingdom, European Tree Technician of the European Arboricultural Council, or equivalent;
(c) have two years’ full-time post-graduate working experience in arboriculture, such as experience in tree risk assessment, tree management, pruning, planting and establishment, diagnosis and treatment of tree problems, cabling and bracing, or a Hong Kong Higher Degree or post-graduate Diploma (covering a study period of not less than two years) in arboriculture by 16 January 2023; and
(d) have met the language proficiency requirement of ‘Level 3’ or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE)[Note (1)], or equivalent.
(1) 政府在聘任非公務員合約僱員時,2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙)「C級」成績,在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科「第3級」成績。
(2) 申請人或須參加筆試。
(a) 除另有指明外,申請人於獲聘時必須已成為香港特別行政區永久性居民。

(e) 如果符合訂明入職條件的應徵者人數眾多,招聘部門可以訂立篩選準則,甄選條件較佳的應徵者,以便進一步處理。在此情況下,只有獲篩選的應徵者會獲邀參加招聘考試╱面試。

(g) 持有本港以外學府╱非香港考試及評核局頒授學歷的人士亦可申請,惟其學歷必須經過評審以確定是否與職位所要求的本地學歷水平相若。有關申請人須郵寄修業成績副本及證書副本到指定的聯絡地址。
(h) 在臨近截止申請日期,接受網上申請的伺服器可能因為需要處理大量申請而非常繁忙。申請人應盡早遞交申請,以確保在限期前成功於網上完成申請程序。
