• (a)To assist in processing applications for the Construction Noise Permit (CNP) under Cap. 400, including preparation of permits, plans, maps and relevant documents as well as liaision with applicants regarding the required documents and information etc.;
• (b)To provide logistics support to the office and to perform general clerical work such as filing;
• (c)To assist in some ad-hoc works such as compilation and analysis of statistics of the CNP, management of database, setting up of meetings and preparation of briefing materials etc.; and
• (d)To perform outdoor duties such as dispatch of documents and assist in delivering CNP related files.

Candidates should –

• (a)have met the language proficiency requirements of “Level 2” or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (Note 1);
• (b)have “Level 2” or Grade E or above in Mathematics in the HKDSEE or the HKCEE, or equivalent;
• (c)have at least two years’ full-time relevant working experience in the field of environmental protection and at least one year’s full-time relevant working experience in the field of license processing;
• (d)be proficient in the use of computer software such as MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint;
• (e)have good Chinese and English word processing skills;
• (f)have good command of written and spoken Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) and English; and
• (g)preferably have knowledge and experience related to construction work and its associated construction noise impact;
