牌照事務督察主要負責(a)預備及處理各項行動以執行《雜類牌照條例》(第114章)、《旅館業條例》(第349章)、《會社(房產安全)條例》(第376章) 、《遊戲機中心條例》(第435章)、《床位寓所條例》 (第447章) 及《卡拉OK場所條例》（第 573章）管轄範圍內的執法職務或規管工作，包括實地巡查、調查非法經營的投訴、管制懷疑無牌經營的場所、搜集現場證據、進行突擊檢查與例行巡查，以及撰寫報告等；(b)預備及處理訴訟個案，包括搜集證據、錄取證人口供及上庭作證等；(c)更新及管理有關紀錄和統計資料，及(d)協助調查與上述六條條例執法事宜的投訴。
職責
A Licensing Inspector is mainly deployed on
- (a)preparing and conducting operations to enforce Miscellaneous Licences Ordinance (Cap.114), Hotel and Guesthouse Accommodation Ordinance (Cap.349), Clubs (Safety of Premises) Ordinance (Cap.376), Amusement Game Centres Ordinance (Cap.435), Bedspace Apartments Ordinance (Cap.447) and Karaoke Establishments Ordinance (Cap.573), including site inspections, investigating complaints on illegal operations, policing suspected unlicensed premises, procuring site evidence, performing routine patrols and surprise inspections and preparing reports;
- (b)preparing and conducting prosecution cases including collecting evidence, taking witness statements and attending court hearings, etc.;
- (c)updating and maintaining records and statistics; and
- (d)assisting in conducting investigation into complaints relating to the enforcement of the six Ordinances.
入職條件
應徵者須(a)具香港中學會考五科第2 等級／E級或以上成績，其中包括中國語文科及英國語文科 (註一) 或具同等學歷； 及(b)具至少三年在執法機構／政府部門執法工作的經驗，具調查或偵緝工作經驗者優先。
Candidates should have
- (a)Level 2/Grade E or above in 5 subjects including Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) (Note 1), or equivalent;
- (b)at least 3 years’ working experience in a law enforcement agency/government department, experience in investigative and detective duties preferred.
