主管主要職責為(a)協助濕地公園經理／濕地公園高級主管執行各項工作，包括香港濕地公園的行政、市場推廣及宣傳、教育、營運、維修保養及管理等；(b)督導一個管理小組，處理有關香港濕地公園管理、郊野地區管理，以及郊野公園或特別地區的保育及管理工作；(c)協助專業人員蒐集實地數據，以便進行生態調查及監察、科學研究、環境影響評估或管理方面的工作；(d)督導有關人員製作文字、視聽及資訊科技／網上材料，以供保育、教育及宣傳用途；(e)協助執行與保育、香港濕地公園、郊野公園及特別地區有關的員工培訓、教育或顧問工作；(f)策劃、推行及檢討在香港濕地公園、郊野公園及特別地區進行的教育、外展及義工計劃；(g)履行有關保護自然環境的執法工作；(h)督導及監察外判服務承辦商的工作表現；(i)以及按需要執行香港濕地公園在管理及營運方面的其他工作。
職責
The Supervisor is mainly deployed on
- (a)assisting Wetland Park Manager / Wetland Park Senior Supervisor in administration, marketing and promotion, education, operation, maintenance and management of Hong Kong Wetland Park (HKWP);
- (b)supervising a management unit concerned with HKWP management, countryside management, conservation and management of country parks or special areas;
- (c)assisting professional officers to collect field data for ecological survey and monitoring, scientific research, environmental impact assessment or management purposes;
- (d)supervising the production of written, audio-visual and IT / Web-based material for conservation, education and publicity use;
- (e)assisting in staff training and educational or advisory work connected with conservation, Hong Kong Wetland Park, country parks and special areas;
- (f)planning, implementing and reviewing education, outreaching and volunteer programmes at Hong Kong Wetland Park, country parks and special areas;
- (g)performing law enforcement duties on protection of natural environment;
- (h)supervising and monitoring performance of contractors on outsourced services; and
- (i)carrying out other duties and assignments in respect of management and operation of HKWP as and when required.
入職條件
申請人必須(a)持有香港其中一間大學頒發的農業科學、生物學/應用生物學、植物學、植物病態學、生態學、昆蟲學、環境研究/科學/管理學、林業學、地理學及園藝學的大學學位，或具同等學歷；(b)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第2級(註1)或以上成績，或具同等成績；(c)取得上述學歷後，至少六年相關工作經驗，當中至少三年工作經驗為主管級人員者優先。
Candidates should have
- (a)a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science, Biology / Applied Biology, Botany, Plant Pathology, Ecology, Entomology, Environmental Studies / Science / Management, Forestry, Geography or Horticulture from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;
- (b)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 (Note 1) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and
- (c)at least 6 years’ post-qualification working experience, preferably with 3 years at supervisory level.
