- (a)參與發展和制訂英國語文教育課程(包括編寫課程文件，支援和協助老師推行課程及參與課程發展校訪)；

職責
- (a)To take part in developing the English Language Education curriculum through carrying out various tasks (including drafting curriculum documents, supporting and advising teachers on its implementation, as well as conducting curriculum development visits);
- (b)to assist in planning, organising, conducting and evaluating in-service professional development programmes for teachers to facilitate the implementation of the English Language curriculum;
- (c)to assist in the development, production and dissemination of language learning and teaching resource materials, and examples of good practice;
- (d)to take part in conducting and monitoring curriculum innovation programmes, projects, research and evaluation;
- (e)to review English Language textbooks or learning packages;
- (f)to provide subject-related professional services and to participate in subject-related committees and tasks groups within and/or outside the EDB;
- (g)to develop, promote and implement language improvement measures; and
- (h)to perform administrative duties related to the day-to-day operation of the English Language Education Section as required.
入職條件
- (a)持有本港頒授相關學科的學士學位，或具備同等學歷；以及持有本港專上教育機構所頒授的教育證書，或具備同等學歷[參閱註(ii)]；
- (b)在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷[中文運用及英文運用]中取得「二級」成績或具備同等成績 [參閱註(iii)]；
- (c)在取得有關學歷後，具有不少於 6 年相關教學或課程發展的經驗[參閱註(iv)]；以及
- (d)申請人如具備與課程有關的碩士或博士學位，或具備同等學歷，可獲優先考慮。
- (a)A Hong Kong bachelor's degree in a relevant subject or equivalent, and a certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent [see Note (ii)];
- (b)'Level 2' results in the two language papers [Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)] in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [see Note (iii)];
- (c)at least 6 years' relevant post-qualification experience in teaching or curriculum development [see Note (iv)]; and
- (d)preference will be given to candidates who have a higher degree related to curriculum studies, or equivalent.
入職條件(註)
- (i)課程主任(英國語文教育)職位的申請日期為2013年3月8日(星期五)至2013年3月22日(星期五)。
- (ii)申請人須在申請表上清楚註明所修讀學位課程的主修和副修科目。申請人如有其他學歷(例如有關科目碩士或博士學位)，亦須一併在申請表上列明。
- (iii)綜合招聘考試中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」，並以「二級」為最高等級。香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級或以上的成績會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」成績。香港高級程度會考英語運用科或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level)(GCE A Level) English Language科「C」級或以上的成績則會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。在 International English Language Testing System （IELTS）學術模式整體分級取得 6.5或以上，並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於 6 的人士，在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內，會視為已符合課程主任（英國語文教育）職位的英語能力要求。IELTS考試成績必須在職位開始接受申請的首天（即2013年3月8日）仍然有效。[參閱上列註(i)]
- (iv)申請人須述明於取得有關學歷後所具備的相關工作經驗及性質。
- (v)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，所有教育局課程主任職位的招聘，均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。申請人在基本法測試(學位／專業程度職系)的表現，會佔其整體表現的一個適當比重，但不會影響其申請教育局課程主任職位的資格。原則上，申請人的學歷、經驗和才能仍然是考慮其是否適合被聘用的主要因素。
- (vi)申請人須處事盡責、積極主動、對工作有熱誠，並須品格良好，願意為教育界服務，作出承擔，以及能以中英文與人有效溝通。
