(a) To support the Assessment Panel in working out the detailed assessment criteria and excellence indicators and to undertake research as may be required by the Assessment Panel of the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence; (b) To liaise with schools, nominators and/or nominees on matters relating to the assessment of nominations; (c) To support the Assessment Panel in conducting initial assessment of all nominations received, such as examining nomination documents, arranging interviews, taking notes, compiling reports, etc; (d) To support the Assessment Panel in conducting detailed assessment of the short-listed nominations, such as arranging school visits, class observations, taking notes, compiling reports, etc; (e) To compile a comprehensive report on the assessment work; and (f) To assist in the related professional and administrative duties.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree or higher degree in Physical Education or other relevant subject(s) or equivalent [see Note (ii)]; (b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent; (c) At least 10 years' post-degree teaching, quality assurance and/or curriculum development experience in Physical Education or other relevant subject(s) [see Note (iii)]; (d) Good English and Chinese writing skills, fluency in spoken English and Cantonese; and (e) Candidates with experience in training or assessing teachers will be given priority.
